My cat, Inky, and I love Magnolia Veterinary Hospital. I chose Dr. Griffin, when I needed a vet for my newly adopted cat (2021). I based my decision, originally, on location/convenience and the great reviews.

After being examined for the first time since adoption, my cat tested positive for FIV and was overweight.

Ever since the first visit, Dr. Griffin and her staff have been very helpful, supportive, patient, and empathetic with me and my many questions and concerns about my cat’s health. They make sure Inky is and stays in excellent health—and that has been a relief to me, as a new pet owner.

Their services are excellent and their prices are fair. They also offer and stock pet products (Rx/specialty food) that are priced lower than many pet stores.

I highly recommend Dr. Griffin and the Magnolia staff for all of your furry family’s healthcare needs.

My dog Vinny is a patient here.
2 days before Christmas I took my Goldendoodle Vinny into the office without an appointment.
I thought he had an ear infection , so Dr Mctaggert
examined him . Didn't find any issue . Precaution she gave a wash for his ears and a med. We left .
Several hours later when it was time for Vinny to eat he could barely stand or walk. So we back , some of the staff saw that he was having an issue. Dr. Mctaggert examined him. She was openly concerned for him. She said he needs to go to UGA , she believed this issue was neurologic and they were best to help Vinny. They made UGA aware of Vinny and I going there.
When we arrived they took him right in. He spent the night. Diagnosed IVDD. The plan was and is to treat with meds and rest. We just did his 2 week evaluation. He is doing very well. The UGA Dr. said you would never know he had an issue. 2 more weeks of rest and I will gradually get back to normal routine.
I can only say how grateful and happy that Dr. McTaggert recognized the need for immediate
and specialized diagnosis.

I just want to say thank you to Dr. griffin and the staff at Magnolia vet. Truly the best veterinary office I have ever been to. They truly care about your animals. They took such good care of my dog, Mr. peanut, for over a year and half while he went through treatment. Everybody in the office is so caring and always accommodating to fit Mr. peanut in. (Thank you Olivia). Unfortunately mister peanut has passed ? but I am so grateful that he was able to attend this practice and that at the end of his life he was so loved… ♥️

This is hands-down the best veterinarian that I have ever dealt with. The staff is amazing regardless of the situation and always pleasant to deal with. Dr. Griffin is knowledgeable and thorough and we appreciate how well she treats us and our fur babies. Their prices and reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a veterinary service. They have a lifelong supporter in me!

Love this vet! Dr. Griffin is always so thorough in her exams and thoughtful when presenting options. I like how she usually has a “good, better, best” option to pick from. She really seems to care for her patients as if they were her own pets. The rest of staff is also very helpful and kind whenever we have to go.

Bring all my four legged friends here. Recently a new kitten. Everyone is so nice and the Dr is very knowledgeable. My realtor recommended them when I moved down here two years ago.

I adopted a dog from Jackson County Animal Control who was in pretty rough shape. Animal control uses Magnolia Veterinary Hospital for all of their surgeries, so I had to deal with them during the adoption process. I'm involved in cat and rat rescue, so I have dealt with quite a few vets over the years, and I was so, so impressed with them.

Dr. Griffin called me and spoke with me for a long time about his general condition, potential causes for his severely emaciated state and skin issues, and a treatment plan. Unfortunately, the dog developed bloat while waiting for animal control to come pick him up for me to get him, but Dr. Griffin caught it immediately. He was stabilized while I drove 45 minutes to come pick him up to go to an emergency vet for surgery. If she had not been so fast-acting, I don't think he would have survived. All of the staff that I interacted with over the phone and while rushing to transport him were phenomenal and I could tell that they really cared about the dog. The prices were extremely reasonable for his bath and blood work. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and would love to go more often if they were closer to me!
