For 17 years the staff here provided amazing care to my Grandfather, Larry Slaughter. It wasn’t a time when I went there when we had to complain and or get administration in because the nurses/ cna weren’t doing their job. They took great care of my Papa and was probably the only reason he lived as long as he did. Lynchburg Health and Rehab we thank you so much ladies and gents for all you did for my grandfather. We love you guys and we thank you so so much for loving him like your own. Always remember “hey baby” as he would say and smile just as he would!!!

The atmosphere here is very welcoming. Staff are ready to assist with any concerns you have even if it is not their department. All departments are very helping with any needs for all residents here. Nurses are working hard to make sure their residents are taken care of and it can be seen from the time you walk in. Lynchburg Health and Rehab has earned my trust for caring for any of my family members.

This is a great facility! Management is very involved and takes care of any issues quickly. The nurses and CNA’s are caring and take great care of the patients. The activities are fun for the residents and they offer a wide variety of things. There is a great big activity room for the residents to use with several things for them to do. The activities employees will even order things that residents request. And, the therapy team is TOP NOTCH. The therapy gym is amazing with SO much awesome top of the line equipment. The therapists are all very educated and will work hard to keep you on track for your therapy plan and prepare you to go home. Just all around amazing and I recommend anyone to go there!

I went over to see a friend of mine and I was very impressed with how clean it was. I was impressed too and how really nice and helpful. The front desk clerk was and two or three of the staff that helped me find the room and then help me With assistance for my friend. Thank you so much to the staff and the workers there I know it’s not an easy job. But God bless you for what you do.

Despite the many challenges, this team has really come together to foster an environment they want to be a part of. The facility and its management are in pursuit of making this building a truly great place to be and I respect every last one of them and the effort they put in every day to keep the momentum necessary to maintain a level or care we as a facility can all be proud of!

The team here is great. They provide great care to all the residents and are friendly. New leadership in place providing positive changes. This is a great place to send your loved ones.

If you want work here please be prepared for the favoritism because certain rules do not apply to everyone. If you call out to the on call manager and she doesn't answer she will say you're a no call no show. Certain nurses can refuse assignments while others can not. Certain people are required to work weekends and others are not. They will write other employees up while other don't get written up at all. Inequality, discrimination, prejudice and special treatment all throughout the work environment.

I am a current patient here and I have to say at first glance when I got here coming from the state of the art facility that I was in, I was devastated. My first couple of days I was met by many of the staff doing their normal intake routine. The staff was very warm and welcoming. They did their very best to make me feel comfortable. Every CNA that assisted me did so with a smile on their face, even when I was not being the easiest person to deal with.

After spending a couple months here and getting out of my room and taking the time to learn the new faces that were around I never met anyone that wasn’t there to help with whatever it was I may need.

The rehab that I have received here has been absolutely amazing. I never thought I would have a chance to walk again with what I considered to be limited equipment in their gym. Now this was based on coming from a facility that had all the top technology a rehab could possibly offer. I have been proven wrong. When you have skilled therapist like they do here, and ones that care about you as much as they would as if you were their own family. It’s amazing what you can accomplish. I’m happy to say that I am now walking. Thanks to Dr. Al, Teka and Kyle. I’m getting better everyday.

The nurses here have hearts of gold!! They are truly angels among us. They have been there for me more times than I can count. When I had a bed sore on the heel of my foot they were on top of it right away. Making sure that it was properly treated everyday. Within a matter of time the wound was all healed up. The nurses I am naming are the ones that cared for me day in and day out, Megan, Tiffany, Crystal, Tanya and not to be forgotten the D.O.N. Laura. She is without a doubt the one who keeps this ship afloat. She is always buried with work but would always make time for me to resolve any problems I may have had. Thank you to all the staff at Lynchburg Health and Rehab for making my stay so great and making me feel like I was part of a family. I love you all!!
