It’s so great finding a place that does such an amazing job grooming Jasper, my standard Poodle. I’ve been to numerous places locally and it has been very hit or miss (but mainly miss) April is the one that did his groom and everything I asked for was achieved flawlessly. He looked exactly how I requested and all of the staff is always so friendly and kind. We are so thankful that Jaspers best friend Rocky received a great groom here first and then referred us!! Thank you April and Team 🙂

Today was our first fear free visit with Dr. Sherman and tash. Honestly I've never had a better visit with a veterinary clinic. Everyone was kind and patient with my dog, he recieved amazing care and ongoing care as well. I feel like most vets get you in and get you out and you never hear from them untill your dog is due again. These guys are very personable, friendly, knowledgeable and most of all compassionate. So happy to have found a fear free clinic in my area with such an amazing staff!

I've brought my dog here a few times now. He's a fearful rescue dog and I don't care for the "just pin them down and force things " approach taken by most vets.
Does Fear Free care take a bit of extra time? Sure. Is it worth it?
Absolutely!!!! To see my dog not hide under my chair by his 2nd visit and joyfully eat treats while having his blood drawn are priceless to me. Dogs are family and deserve mental and emotional care as well as health care.

My dog was "traumatized" by traditional vets. Not bad care by no means, but my little guy has anxiety issues. Finding a Fear Free vet has been life-changing. They truly take their time with you and your pet. Dr Oriold answers your questions with clarity. Mary Jo was so understanding with my little guy. I truly cannot say enough!!!!

We can't thank Loyal Companion staff enough for the care provided to our pup. Rosita and I knew this place was different the moment we walked in the door. No waiting room, friendly greeting, comfortable exam room with no metal exam tables, calm setting and treats waiting for your arrival! The doctors are knowledgeable, kind and take time to ensure you understand the situation and treatment options. The staff is welcoming, compassionate and skilled. Talk about fear-free... Rosita took a nap while waiting for her exam results! We originally chose to drive to Loyal Companions to secure testing for Chagas. After the first few minutes of Rosita's appointment, I decided we were staying with this provider--we drove from Rockford to St. Charles because it was worth every mile and every minute of the ride. Thank you to everyone at Loyal Companions--your effort is appreciated and acknowledged!

I had such a great experience at Loyal Companions! Dr. Oriold and tech Alex took such great care of my dog. Coco is not always the friendliest but was very receptive during her exam! I was very impressed and highly recommend.

Loyal Companions have cared for our two dogs and one cat. The pets have never been so happy going to the doctor. The environment is well calming for the pets and the doctors and staff are all excellent. We could not be happier with our care there.

Very friendly. Doesn’t take your cat away from you during exams. Very slow and gentle with the cats. Lots of encouragement with treats ❤️
