If I could give Linda and her team TEN STARS I would !!! Absolutely recommend this business.

TLDR - Linda's Doggie Salon is a one of a kind establishment that will treat your dog with kindness and respect, as if it were their own pet! I went from thinking I had an ungroomable doodle to having my little guy wag his tail happily walking both in AND out of the salon. Literal miracle workers!!!

The long version - we have a 6 year old golden doodle, he's a big boy (~75 lbs). He has been going to the groomer since 8 weeks of age and has HATED every moment of it. We tried to do everything right. He would still be vibrating, traumatized for days after each groom, and he would usually ? himself before and after the groom. Everything culminated in a very bad experience at a groomer in rural Maine a few years ago - since then my fiancé and I had to do our best to groom him ourselves, but we are by no means professionals and didn't have a good way to actually get him clean. When we moved back to costal CT, he was in desperate need of professional help.

Enter Linda's Doggie Salon! I spoke with Linda several times on the phone, and I immediately knew she was a good person and would care for my pup. She's flexible, very reasonably priced, and my dog could sense that her and the other groomer (I apologize for forgetting his name!) we're going to take good care of him. I was still so nervous leaving him.

When I picked him up, I cried. He was happy. He was wagging. HE WAS TAKING TREATS FROM BOTH OF THEM! No vibrating, no rushing to get out the door, no ?!!!! Linda's words will forever stick with me "He's not a bad dog at all... They really must have not been very nice to him..." ? I will never be able to thank them enough.

Monty just had his second groom with Linda's Doggie Salon yesterday, and it was just as wonderful of an experience. Happy, wagging boy. No trauma ! A great groom too! He apparently even got more comfortable with his feet (probably figured out that these people are his pals and won't do anything to hurt him ?). This is several months later, too!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience, and I hope Linda's Doggie Salon knows they have a customer for life !!! Thank you SO MUCH for taking great care of Monty!!

Just got a surprise 1 year old boy yesterday he needed a bath grooming nails and called Linda this morning and told her the story of how my family got him Linda told me to bring him in first thing this morning. When I picked him up what a surprise! He looked fantastic ! What a great job and Thank you for the leash collar toys and treats.I will highly recommend anyone to bring there paw kids. VERY hard to get an appointment. I've tried many times over the years with various dogs and I'm always told not taking new clients. It sounds like the run around based on my dog's type/coat/size.

Best salon for my dog! I used to bring both my poodles here until one passed but I still bring Bella in. I love this salon and can’t recommend it enough because Linda is so nice and gentle with the dogs. No complaints ever! I used to take my dogs to Petsmart groomers and my dogs would come cut up and scared/terrified.

I was in need of someone to help with a severely matted dog. Couldn’t find someone to take him on until I Was referred to Linda’s, and I couldn’t be happier. She was kind and patient with my dog and I. The way she took care of my dog bought me tears of joy. Highly recommend her for your pets needs.

I have taken all of my dogs to Linda for both training and grooming since 1983. I have never been disappointed and all of my dogs have experienced comfort while in Linda’s care. She goes the extra mile to provide a positive experience for all of her clients canine and their humans.

Linda was great. I called her in the morning because my dog was sprayed by a skunk and she squeezed me in that day! She did a wonderful job on my dog. He hasn't smelled this good for this long since we got him LOL. I'm definitely taking my dog back to her from now on and the price for a shampoo was reasonable.
