Dr. Riemer is thorough and kind! When my elder dog lost her eyesight and a few years later had to be put to sleep, he was caring and sensitive. We brought our new puppy and have continued to receive excellent care.

Hindsight is 20/20. We had our puppy fixed here and my new vet says it's "old school" to send a dog home with zero pain meds after this type of procedure. I saw the difference after a recent surgery my dog had with a different vet who did give us pain killers and it hit me like a ton of bricks. My dog was scarred, probably in shock and wouldn't eat for 24 hours after being fixed. Looks of betrayal and sadness, like why did I punish them? This is my first dog and when I picked them up, they looked so distressed that I nearly passed out. I didn't think to ask for pain killers, I trusted that this vet would do what was best for my baby and have my back as a fur-parent. Pain meds were never mentioned or offered. Never trusting them again, I brought home a completely different dog after EMERGENCY surgery because the other clinic I used knew how to consider the dog's experience and sent them home sane, healthier and happy. I know for a fact that my dog has PTSD regarding all vet offices, hopefully the new office will eventually overwrite that first terrible experience from their memory. I wouldn't bring any pet back to Lakeland, just to be honest.

Loved this vet! Our pup had teeth cleaning and such—she seemed very happy after and they were very informative as to what she had done and the after care! I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Pam is a GodSend at Lakeland Veterinary. I have been with her for 15 years approximately and 3 offices. I travel a little further to see her but knowing my dogs are well taken care of puts me at ease.
She's an Excellent Dog and People person.

Dr. Pam. has moved here with another fantastic vet, Dr. Riemer!! I used to see both of them at their previous clinic and I trust my animals with both of them. Their staff is so helpful and accommodating! My dog is in the best care and so close by!
