I never thought that myself or my family would be a victim of a daycare horror story. Unfortunately, sending my son here became a mother's worst nightmare.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but a video is worth more. And they record the classrooms. What this school put me through is a perfect example of
"know your rights and advocate for yourself and for others who can't advocate for themselves."
The director, teachers and staff members need to be retrained in safety protocol, child development and professionalism.
If your child has any incident occur while attending this facility, push to get the video. They won't give it to you without a fight, but it is not impossible to retrieve. Keep fighting. The proof is in the video.
After I removed my son from this school, multiple staff members tried adding me on social media, which I thought was extremely unprofessional and an invasion of privacy.

We have only had positive experiences at La Petite. My oldest finished pre-k aherevand went into kindergarten seamlessly. My youngest has been happily attending for 3 years. He requires extra hugs/cuddles than some children. Every morning his teachers give him a hug or hold him so I can leave. At pickup he is smiling telling me funny stories about his day! We appreciate that learning is play focused and theirisn’t a heavy emphasis on worksheets as I see in other pre-k programs. There is plenty of time for that in years to come. There is a heavy emphasis on social/emotional development. Which is much more crucial at this age. It is obvious the director (Carrie) genuinely cares about the children and the staff. Everyone seems to know all the children by name. It is pricier but I would rather save money on other areas. A safe, nurturing environment for my child is not the place. They need to have the ability to pay staff appropriately, offer benefits and provide them tools they need.

My son graduated from Pre-K at LPA last year and still asks to return because he loved it so much. The staff always treated us like family and ran things in a fun, safe, and organized manner. They are diligent about addressing your concerns, and they never make you feel unwelcome. The director, Carrie, is very friendly and always professional. She always makes decisions that are looking out for your child's best interest, and she truly cares about all of the children, families, and staff in the school. She is honestly the best director you could ask for! I highly recommend La Petite - Glen Carbon!

My son has been in the 1 year and toddler room and absolutely loves it! It is pricey for daycare, but you pay for what you get. Michelle, the director, is very easy to work with and always puts her parents and children first. The kids are always doing arts and crafts, learning sign language, playing outside, and learning to share and play well with others. I can't speak for the other teachers, but the teachers he has had in the 1 year old and toddler room are excellent. My son is absorbing so many things I wouldn't know how to teach him. I feel like they genuinely care about the children there.

I cannot say enough about the teachers and administration at La Petite. When we started going there our daughter was around 18 months old. The director, Michelle, bent over backwards to make sure that we would have a spot in the toddler room. When our daughter transitioned to the twos room she had zero problems meeting the new kids and teachers. She is in the early preschool room now and she is even starting a spanish program! I would highly recommend La Petite. I trust everyone there implicitly with the care of my daughter.

We have nothing but praise for La Petite Glen Carbon. The staff is kind, thoughtful and educated. Our son receives exceptional care and individual attention to help him with early learning development. He has grown so much in a few short months! The staff gets to know every child and they have become our extended family. Most importantly, they provided a daycare solution for us in a time of need. We are forever grateful for the care and attention our son receives at this school. I recommend La Petite Glen Carbon to anyone!

You know you've found the perfect place for your child when they are excited for it to be Monday and they RUN off to their teacher and friends. La Petite has been, hands down, the most exceptional schooling/day care experience we've had yet in our eight years as parents. Our child joined La Petite after three years of having a nanny. And while we loved our nanny, this school was an incredible place for our daughter. They are attentive and caring. And she thrived there and learned so much -- both socially and academically. She just graduated and is off to Kindergarten. It was a sad day for all of us because there is truly something special about this place.

I really don't know where to start. Hands down Miss, Michelle (the director) is amazing. She is an awesome person and will make you feel that no matter what your child will be cared for which they 100% will be. we have a daughter who goes there and our son went to another place in the area and was completely neglected which we were unaware of during the time. Our children are 6 years apart and had I taken him here and spent just a little more…we wouldn't have the stories we do unfortunately. The staff…what can I say… They are like my family…..caring, understating, strong and simply AMAZING! All I can say as a mother is if you want your child to have these qualities…as a mother I would 100% recommend La Petite.
