As a new out patient of Marcia Smith, it seems like anytime I need refills I have to bend over backwards to get them. Nobody EVER answers the phone so you are left to leave a voicemail that takes usually days for them to get back to you. I’ve never experienced anything like this at previous places. They will let you go without medications knowing it will make you sick or more anxious. This would have never happened at any of my other psychiatrist offices.

I called yesterday at 4:30 PM. No one answered. Has been over 37 hours no one returned my voicemail. And their online system says someone will respond within an hour. 48 hours later still no response. Clearly don’t care about their patients, too lazy to their jobs or maybe they’re simply incompetent.

I am really upset I feel very alone right now my dad just recently passed away and I was always told if I needed anyone to talk that I was always welcome to call there to the behavioral health unit but apparently that is not the case I had always felt very welcomed by the unit and now I feel so uncomfortable to be up there knowing that none of them want me up there anymore I was told the night I went in for behavioral health that there was no beds available but that ended up not being true I got lied to they wouldn't want us to lie to them so why is ok for them to lie to us they said it was not a therapeutic environment for me because of the in and out but they don't understand since October my dad started going down hill fast and then turned terminal in December right before Christmas it was very hard so I gone into KSB for help since October 2023 like 4 times but not sure but that's beside the point real point is yes I am comfortable with them because they have helped me a great deal with my bpd and trauma and I very grateful for that and I am not trying to scare anyone away from seeking help from there unit because they are very good at what they do I really hope I get a response back thank you!!!

Dr. Hemant Shah (outpatient psychiatry) has been shoving new (and often mysterious) pills down my throat nearly every month for the last few years, he only ever asks about the side effects of the previous drug started (I have-- gained and lost 50lbs, was LACTATING while not pregnant, and the list goes on-- within his care), and has NEVER personally evaluated me-- only gone off of a prior doctor's misdiagnoses. My insurance network is limited with behavioral health, and I am currently working to find a different doctor. Do not waste your mental strength, time, or money on this doctor.

Terrible, Marshia Smith is the worst Lied to me countless times and only made my anxiety worse trying to prescribe me multiple medications to take a day I have bad anxiety about medications alone they don’t care bottom line and would rather see you end up dead then actually help you and work with you, I will be filling a Lawsuit depending on the response of Ksb, Marshia Smith I have everything on video I record all conversations through my phone and whatever board definitely needs to take her license away Immediately or suspend her Indefinitely she’s not mentally qualified to be a Dr/psychiatrist She just isn’t Terrible would rather drown in the rock river then even come back here All they did was make my anxiety worse and f with my head,
