Our dog LOVES Kritter Kare and so do we. 🙂 We've been using them for about 6 months now, shortly after we welcomed our corgi in our family. He loves daycare and boarding here and is always excited to walk through the door. Staff is always so friendly! Prices are reasonable as well.

After years of thinking we would never be able to board our dog, we completely lucked out when we found Kritter Kare! Our dog is challenging to say the least - he has separation anxiety, is an escape artist, and has lots of excitement reactivity. We searched everywhere for a boarding facility that would accommodate him and it would be a bonus if they had a daycare program to help us meet his socialization needs. After our initial evaluation, it was determined that he needed to work on a few things before he could come to daycare, but he could be boarded at anytime. We started a training package with their trainer, Heath, who was so amazing to work with! We made so much progress in his excitement reactivity and in a few short weeks he was able to start attending daycare regularly. Heath also helped to give us the tools and confidence we needed to be able to walk him more often at home. I love that the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate the individual needs of each dog! It’s obvious how much love they have for each dog and I feel confident that our dog is well taken care of, safe, and getting all of his needs met whether he’s there for daycare or for a few days of lodging. We went into this looking for a boarding facility for the occasional out of town trip, but we have gained so much more!

I had to fly out of town for a wedding and needed to board my two dogs. Ater doing some research and speaking with my Veterinarian, Kritter Kare's Howliday Inn in Columbia, IL was a clear choice.
The staff was very friendly and while my babies had a hard time adjusting to their stay, the staff was very responsive in doing everything they could to make their stay as pleasant as possible. I looked forward to receiving their daily report cards letting me know how they were adjusting and how well they were being taken care of.
I wouldn't hesitate to use this facility again if the need arises and highly recommend them to anyone needing to board their fur babies!!!

As soon as my fur baby realizes we’re headed to Howliday Inn she gets so excited…. she loves it there! And I love how sweet they are to her, the pictures they post of all the pups playing on Facebook, and how exhausted she is after spending the day there!!

Today was Elmo’s first day. Everything was carefully explained to me, a nervous dog mom. Elmo went willingly and happily with the very kind staff. I received timely responses to my questions on how he was doing. At the end of the day I received a report card and darling pictures. This is a truly top notch organization!!! I could NOT be more impressed or pleased with how it went.

We love Kritter Kare’s Howliday Inn in Columbia! They take the best care of our boy Jed who’s 11 years old. He loves going to daycare and staying overnight when we’re traveling. It’s very reassuring to know Jed is in such good hands. Every night they send a report card with details of the day and lots of pictures. If you’re looking for a great daycare or boarding for your dog you can’t go wrong with Kritter Kare’s Howliday Inn❤️

Great people!! Awesome care!! Everyone here loves your pups, takes care of them as if they were their own. Can’t thank the staff enough for all they do, plus some training if you want.
Best review is from our pup. We ask if she wants to go and she starts spinning in excitement. On days that she doesn’t go, she blocks the door. That speaks volumes that she’s loved and cared for when I drop her off.❤️❤️❤️
