If you care for your loved one keep them away from this place! They starve their residents, leave them in dirty briefs, leave dirty wound wrappings on them for DAYS, let them get bed sores and refuse to get them the medical help that they need!!! The head of nursing has a nasty attitude and thinks she's above helping the nurses! There's 1 nurse to 50 residents!!! Horrible horrible place!!!!!

I have worked with both Faith and Brittany many times, but most recently on a case that needed to be a quick turn around for a family. They are always willing to help in any way! Kings Daughter's is fortunate to have them as part of their team.

It's a horrible place to work everyone does what they want to do there is nobody to get that place under control.at that they cheat u off your check they don't pay what they soposto pay. I really feelt robbed by them i bust my ass working there they pay every 2 weeks and pay one week. And then they denied everything. Trying to cover there selfs up.

It has been a number of years now since my Grandmother was a resident at this facility. The staff was always responsive to our needs and requests. This is a very difficult line of work to be in as my wife and daughters all have done and a couple of them still do provide senior care. It truly takes a special kind of person. My recent visits to this facility has been to visit friends or acquaintances and I found it to be just as I remembered. The staff was extremely helpful to me and what I saw was a compassionate environment where people were being treated with dignity and respect.

My wife was in Kings Daughters from November till January 10th at which time she was taken to the ER and I told the ER Doctor and Social Worker that it would be over my dead body that she goes back to Kings Daughters. I brought her home and I give her way better care than trained nurses and aides. I am starting a State Investigation into this facility as they should lose their license and shutdown. My wife was formerly a Director of Nursing and she said she would have never once treated any of her patients that way.

I was recently a patient there for almost 6 weeks. There are some amazing people working long hours under challenging conditions that need to be praised. RNs Rebecca, Diana, Shelby, Mariah, Caden were all outstanding. Though every nurse I delt with was great. Among the nurses assistants, Samantha, Heather, Michelle, and Brittany were all excellent. They need to clone Samantha. In therapy everyone is great. I worked most often with Lizzie, Ashley, and Emma and they are all excellent. The food is terrible!!!

I spent 6 weeks in Kings Daughters for rehab after a major surgery where I was inpatient at UVA for 8 weeks. I was not able to even stand up by myself when I was first transferred from UVA to Kings Daughters. I was so scared to try to even just stand. Everyone was so welcoming. I had been at Kings Daughters for 3 weeks the previous year. Everything was running much more efficiently this stay. Management was very responsive to an issue I had with one nurse. The Therapy Department is definitely top notch. As I said I was so scared but they were very supportive and eased my fears from the very first day. They had me using a walker in a very short period of time. I’ve been to PT 9 other times in my life for other joint issues so I know when the therapy is good or not. The PT and OT team at KD are very knowledgeable, patient and caring. They gave me the confidence and encouragement I needed to get back on my feet again. When I was discharged I was only using a cane which I was able to stop using about a month after discharge. I am doing great now.
The only complaint I have is about the food. Definitely room for improvement.

The facility staff are excellent at listening and addressing any concerns that you may have. The residents consider Kings Daughters their home. (That says it all)! The Administrator and Director Of Nursing are truly invested in their residents and community.
