I cannot express my gratitude for Dr. Fayth enough. She has always been so professional and caring, consistently going above and beyond. Over four years ago, she diagnosed my Jackahuahua with Cushing's disease and took immediate action. Since then, she has kept a careful eye on our beloved fur baby, ensuring she has lived the very best life. Dr. Fayth even takes time out of her busy day to talk via phone or email.

Now that we have added three cats to our fur family, she continues to be the best advisor. We recently welcomed two Savannah cats, and researching feeding options can be daunting. Thank you, Dr. Fayth, for once again going above and beyond by consulting with your colleagues and taking the time to do diet research. These things were not asked of you; you did them out of your love for what you do.

Always a good experience. My dog has been going for yearly check ups, teeth cleanings and they just helped with an emergency.

Thank you for being friendly and acting fast to help my baby. So very nice to have Dr. Fayth and all of her staff. Especially Hannah who loves my baby so very much!

New owners completely turned this place around. Privately owned not corporate BS. I used to travel to Marathon to see Doc Dunn. He is still the GOAT of all things Vet and always will be. But that is no reason not to visit Cruz as they are much more than adequate to care for your furry compadres and much closer. 24 hour service for Emergencies and the employees could not be nicer and polite.

I was forced to drive up to Cruz late one Friday night since they are the only after hours ER vet in the Lower Keys. They were very nice and the place was just as nice, but what happened next is just horrid. My cat's front leg went mysteriously paralyzed that night and Dr. Jason diagnosed it as just a bad sprain. He didn't even want to do an Xray until I mentioned what about a hairline fracture and then he agreed to just to rule that out. He said he couldn't give her pain medication cause of her kidney failure, so he just did some laser therapy instead. So I followed up a couple weeks later with my own regular vet office, All Animal Clinic. They said it couldn't be just a sprain because now it was infected. By then the leg had stiffened and shriveled up. I no longer believed that this could be cause by a sprain as Dr. Jason at Cruz had claimed it to be. The leg worsened, became an open wound, and once again it happened that it was after hours, but this time I refused to go back to that place. A few hours later her back legs became paralyzed and I knew it was time to have her put down. I called Cruz Animal to tell them what had happened and the same lady, Erica, that was there the first night 3 weeks prior, said she didn't remember me cause it was "so long ago." I contacted my own vet and she met me at her Clinic on a Sunday afternoon just to put Katie to rest. She took one look at the leg and said it was dead and what Cruz had said was just a sprain, had really been a blood clot. And I found out that he could've prescribed her Gabapentin for her pain that night when she really needed it. He basically killed my cat in 3 weeks time. In the future, I don't care how desperate I am for an after hours vet, because I will NEVER take one of my beloved pets back to them ever again.

We have had the best experience with Keys Animal ER. Our Pharaoh Hound pup had a rough start, fighting meningitis and a few subsequent hiccups from the meds she was on. Dr. Fayth, Carla, and the entire front desk team (especially Valerie,) have been so attentive to our baby's needs. It is reassuring to know that we have such amazing veterinary care so close to home. We cannot recommend Keys Animal ER enough!!! Fera loves and thanks you guys. ?

What a fabulous team. They were wonderful with helping me with my cat, Bob. I had to make a very difficult decision for my 17 yr old Bengal. Everyone in the office was so kind and compassionate. I was visit my parents with my cat. When I soon become a local, this office will be my vet of choice. ?
