Best Vets around this area, they go above and beyond with support and care for fur babies. I cannot say enough good - worth the drive because I pass up 2 Vets on my way there.

We recently changed doctors and the change has been awesome! Last week, we saw two different vets with two different animals and both vets took time with us to get to know our animals and were so friendly. I felt completely confident that we had made the right choice. The vet techs are also very knowledgeable and seem to love animals.

Our first experience was 1.5 weeks ago. The building looked clean. Parking area seems sufficient. I was quoted a cost of $600-$800 for my dog's ear hematoma surgery and meds. When I brought him in surgery morning, the girl at the front desk was not at all welcoming. She didn't seem comfortable with her job. Maybe she's new? Extremely poor tone, visible frustration, never smiled AT ALL, and she didn't know answers to questions that would be commonplace for an animal hospital. My dog's ear had broken open at the top earlier that morning and was oozing. I'd wrapped it in a dressing and gauze, but he shook that right off on the drive to the hospital. He started shaking his head while I was filling out their form. This girl was just letting him stand there, shaking that bloody fluid all over the waiting area instead of calling a tech to come assist or even take him back to try to wrap it until surgery. I'm asking her for the paper towels I see on the other side of the desk while trying to get the form filled out as quickly as possible and she just disappears into the back. I finally ran over to grab the paper towels so I could start trying to clean up what I could. Not a good first impression at all. I'm not used to animal hospitals where the first person you meet completely ignores the animal. When the female tech came out to take him back, she greeted us with a big warm smile, expressed concern for his ear, & reassured me that they were going to help him feel 100x better. Finally, a redeeming quality! I gave my boy some hugs & kisses & promised him I'd be back for him. They'd instructed me to call around 1:30. They called & left a voicemail around 11:30 to tell me that the cost was going to be closer to $1000 because his ear was becoming an abcess. Wow, a surprise $200 increase!?! When they quoted $600-800, I assumed they'd given themselves a $200 range for potential issues they might encounter. Apparently not. This information was also left as a voicemail instead of it being a discussion, so I was left feeling completely taken advantage of. I was told I could pick him up at 4:30, so I arrived to get him at 4:30 exactly. The same young lady from earlier was at the front desk. Her attitude seemed a bit improved. The waiting room was pretty full. Once she acknowledged me, I told her I was there to pick up my dog. She walked to the other side of the desk and looked through some papers. Nope, his paperwork wasn't there. She told me she'd check in back. She came back out and said it should just be a few minutes, as they were finishing up his paperwork. I was advised to briefly have a seat. No problem. I sat down and talked to a few other people and their adorable pets. After I'd been sitting for 40 minutes, I noticed the one front desk girl had went in the back and a shorter, friendlier woman was there. I went back up to the desk and advised her I'd been waiting a while and could she please check and see if my boy was ready? She kindly said, "of course!", apologized for my wait and that I wasn't informed he was ready. She said the vet wanted to talk to me, so could I give them just a moment to get him? She was kind and genuine. Of course I'd wait. Maybe 2 minutes later I was called into a room with the vet. He seemed very kind and caring as he explained the procedure he'd done, care that I'd need to provide at home, meds they were sending him home with, etc. Very thorough and professional young man. While checking out, I noticed they had my boy down as female on the paperwork. He's very clearly male. Once I have them remove his sutures, I have no plans to return. The blatantly obvious gender mistake, the surprise $200 increase, and the poor experiences with the one front desk girl definitely have me kicking myself for not just booking the surgery with Formea, but I was trying to get him relief ASAP. The surgery was successful and his ear seems to be healing well. Really, that's the most important thing. I'll give 5 stars for that, the vet, tech, and shorter front desk lady. That said, I think 3 stars is fair.

They really need to get rid of the rude older woman that works up front. I will be taking my pets elsewhere moving forward. Its a shame cannot ask a question about my pet without having to make an appointment to pay money.

The ladies who cut my Shih Tzu's hair do a mediocre job and always, ALWAYS, find a way to jack up the price of the visit to an exorbitant fee.
