Overall the serivce was alright but turns out the puppy we adopted had WORMS! We adopted her 8/13/2024 or 8/14/2024. She had a ton and we were not aware of this and i am wondering if they were. She couldn't have gotten from anywhere because we walk her outside and are able to see what she eats. This is very disappointing because it costed us a bit of money. If we knew that poor baby was so sick we definitely could've waited. Wish we were told about this. She also had another puppy in there with her when we adopted her so i pray they told whoever adopted it that she has worms.

Will never come here again put a deposit down on a puppy Saturday (08/10/2024) was told she wasn’t ready until Thursday (08/15/2024) went to go get her and she was adopted the day before (08/14/2024) we never got a call or anything. Also to the older lady that told my husband that there’s a way to get rid of an unborn baby that was unnecessary and you better be glad I didn’t hear it I would have came unglued on you and everyone will know my experience with this place and how me and my husband was treated and how unprofessional this place is.

If there was a zero I would put a zero. My dog's leg was broken they showed it on x-ray she had to have pins they made us wait a whole week before the surgeon would even look at the X-ray. Also I had to ask them to bandage her up. The surgeon was very unpleasant. When I got her back she couldn't even use her back legs in the surgery was done on her front leg. I took her back and he was pulling her up by her neck. No help at all. I took her to another veterinarian off of kavanaugh turns out she had a punctured lung. He killed my dog. I wasn't expecting this and it really messed me up so bad I had to go in somewhere. And they still send me things for her to get shots. Thankfully though I got a card from sutherlands veterinarian. He also did the surgery at night where no one was with him. And he didn't care about her at all. Please please please please please please don't trust!!!

I am so happy with this shelter! Called about a little black lab & picked her up that day ❤️ She is adjusting amazingly! Even had her 1st pup cup. The kids love her! Thank you!

I found a beautiful little black lab puppy shivering in the rain last night on Berkshire Dr. by the park. YOU in that light colored minivan/SUV, I SAW you! SHAME on you for abandoning a defenseless animal in such a manner.. I took her to shelter today and the staff took her right in. The lady running the place definitely seems like a no nonsense kind of person, but she was extremely respectful and friendly towards me. I could tell she really loves the animals there. Thank you staff!

This has been a no kill shelter for about 4 years now, but they rely heavily on donations to make that possible. You can help by calling them up and seeing how to donate cash, or by taking them items like pet food, kitty litter, newspapers, old towels and blankets, and cleaning supplies.
