Very good bedside manner from every single Doctor, Nurse, tech, and employee at Island Animal Hospital. Everyone is so warm and gives a genuine feeling that they actually care and are interested.

Sweet little office that doesn’t feel or smell like a vet’s office typically would - rather it is homey and welcoming, which I’d imagine probably has a positive impact on the anxiety level of some pets.

Your time with the Doctor doesn’t feel rushed, and they are very patient and focused in answering questions. Both of the Doctors we’ve seen were amazing and always give multiple options for care.

The ladies at the front desk are so sweet and the way they manage the office is clearly very organized. From check-in to check-out, the entire appointment is seamless and timely.

I’ve been to 2 other Vets in West Palm, and the second I came to Island Animal Hospital I knew I’d found the right fit.

I highly recommend Dr. LeeAnn Ablin. Over a year ago she performed two TPLO surgeries on both back legs to my dog Princess and she is doing fantastic. Excellent surgeon and very caring.

We just moved here from LA and needed a vet ASAP. Our puppy was having some issues and Island Animal Hospital squeezed us in immediately. The office is a little Palm Beach house & is spotless and so cute inside and out! The staff was so welcoming and we didn’t have to wait hours to see the doctor. Within 10 minutes Dr. Scully saw our little Ted and prescribed medication. She is kind, patient, and excellent with animals. Overall great experience! 10/10 ❤️

We love love love Island Animal Hospital! We use to go to Harmony Animal Hospital in Jupiter but when we moved we were recommended to see Dr. Scully & we are so grateful to have such a great Doctor for our fur babies. All the receptionists & doctors are great as well! Such a cute place with the best doctors who truly care. Arthur, Norman, & Henry truly are spoiled going here 🙂

Caveat, this review is not about service but rather the booking experience. I was hoping this would be our vet as our puppy comes this week and we live blocks from this location. Unfortunately, the woman who answered the phone was cold and couldn't be bothered when I asked questions for our first appointment. I understand there's been an influx of people that have moved to the island during the pandemic and perhaps business is thriving and my business is not needed...and it's wonderful to see local business doing well but I'd rather be a part of a practice that is great and humble vs. great and cocky.

This hospital may have had positive experiences 4 to 6 years ago. Our cat (a runt) has seen Dr. Scully 4 times now with NO answers. She is the worst vet ever. This clinic is all dogs -- no cats. Our cat was given an opoid to calm her down, something that was never recommended or given by other vets. She should have been examined her in the ROOM with her family present. Instead, she was taken to the third floor and did not look good when brought back to the exam room. She almost overdosed and was very sick with labored breathing. It cost over $248 for nothing more than blood work. WOW. If you have a cat or a dog and Dr. Scully is recommended - RUN and RUN fast. Find a better hospital with vets who involve you as the family. The vet and the hospital are a disgrace. They do not care about the animals and have NO compassion. Dr. Scully also DID not answer or questions or address our concerns, completely dismissive.
