We toured this beautiful facility for mother in law who will be going tomorrow. This is the Hilton of Rehab facilities in this area. We met Casey the facility director who coordinated with the hospital case manager for an easy transition with medical transport. She was very informative and we got to chat for quite a while.
The facility floor plan is ideal with one level living. There is a big open PT room with high ceilings and lots of window with plantation shutters. There is a second gym which is smaller with different PT activities. There is a beautiful courtyard in the center with walkways and park benches. A library, dining room, TV sitting room, and even a hair salon. Staff was kind and caring as well. PT is available 7 days a week which is a bonus. Rooms are private with suites and a shared bathroom per 2 rooms. Some rooms are private with own bath. Overall this is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Nothing in Northern Virginia compares to what this offers.

This place is absolutely the best I have ever seen. Super Clean, Smells awesome. Can't sing enough praises for the staff, from the front Service Amassador, to the Business office, to the RN, and the CNA. They have a activity director that keeps the residents busy, feeling important and celebrated. Plus she decorates for the holidays like a professional. There's not enough stars to give this place.

Very well respectful saff and I really mean everyone inside the facility. Everyone attentive moments felt so genuinely real... And while there, I just in observing the surroundings I saw people (staff) working making sure patients were being taken care of...
Such an awesome experiencing...

I was surprised at his admittance and discharge. I felt that I didn’t have much information. They knew he needed a wheelchair and he had one that didn’t fit him at first. The room didn’t have a chair for visitors so I had to bring card table chairs from home. The therapy was great and he left stronger than when he was first hospitalized before rehab.

The staff was very lackadaisical about the care for my mother. When settles at the facility for over two hours before I could get there, no one provided her a walker and set oxygen machine in furthest corner from the bathrooms which would not reach. The two weeks she was there were almost heart breaking but I was recovering from surgery so could not bring her home. If a loved one has to be there then be sure to make daily visits to stay on top of needs.

And one star is a lot, my father in law was admitted there recently and when my husband and his sister went to pick him up they found him in a wheel chair unresponsive! No one noticed this? The question asked to my sister in law was do you want us to call the paramedics ? How irresponsible is that, shame on them for treating people as if they don't care, that is their job and these people are their responsibility while being their patients. Don't be fooled by what it looks like inside.

The facility was clean and had good lighting. While visiting my loved one my family and I had questions we wanted to ask but emotions were high so we waited. A young African American male who identified himself has the admin came by. He was very patient and answered our questions and even prayed with and for our family. This was a welcomed and enjoyed gesture. It also made my family at ease to know that we could contact him at anytime.

One star is the BEST I could do. My mother in law was a patient there twice in the past 18months and it has really gone down hill. We had a few issues with a few nurses on the unit and tried talking to managers and got no where.....when we went to go to the administrator, they were never available amd we were given a phone number to call and never received any returns calls. There was one head nurse who was fantastic, always listen to complaint, concerns and vent sessions. We found out that she recently left the facility abruptly. We asked one of the night nurses what happened to her and she said she left because of the way they treated the patients. It's a shame she left before I could get all her information because i would definitely hire her for private cases!!  There doesn't seem to be nobody in charge per say and the place is in shambles. Nobody has answers to the simplest questions that you ask. I would not recommend this facility to anyone  in its current state and have been passing that message to friends and family who are looking for facilities for placement!! Get it together!!
