Someone took our cat in who was chipped and had her put down the same day she "went missing". The vet saw our missing ad on Craigslist and called to let us know about the "simple case of mistaken identity"... Xena was a child's emotial support animal, she was loved, she was young, healthy and she was chipped. ?
They won't disclose who took her 30 minutes away to get euthanized. Some one drove 30 minutes away with our talkative cat and didn't realize it wasn't their old sickly cat. Very suspicious. Thanks for the ashes and the rock though. If anyone has been through this? We would like some help getting the name of the person who took her in ?️ It's been really hard to greive without answers

Wonderful and caring staff. Veterinary doctor and his family own Ferndale and Fortuna, and Whisker City Boarding. They are local and really want to see excellent animal care in the area they call home

We have visited both Fortuna and Ferndale locations, for our aging cat and puppy. They have consistently provided top-notch service and care for our fur babies, to include helping our sweet girl cross the rainbow bridge with dignity. We highly recommend!

Dr. Flores is amazing! He's the only vet I'll take my pups to go see in this area.
My pit mix has had issues with infections in her paw and with the help of dr.flores we got it under control with almost 3 months of antibiotics. When my bigger frenchie started itching his ear I took him in to see him also. Hes knowledgable and super friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good vet in the area.

My cat was going through a medical rough patch and I called for help. She is now on shots for joint pain and a topical lotion for itching. My Dr was out of town and they made treatment happen by involving another Dr in the office. They called me and sent multiple texts to get the treatment through. This morning.…12 hours later, I got a call asking how it was going. My little cat is so much better I can't believe it. This is a great facility for your pet care.

Went to visit a Veterinlarian I knew in High School retired now however they are Cattle, Horse and small animals. The day I was there I saw a Giant Bull Mastif and a Georgous white and brown large dog. Built like a Great White Pieriness . Georgeous and big. They service all animals.

Dr. Schroeder, Dr. Flores, and Dr. James helped all my animals at times when things were touch and go. The receptionists are helpful, kind, and diligent. The rooms and reception area are clean. They have a bench away from others for kitties, too. There are also candles with wording about tender last moments with pets for others to observe in the quiet. I appreciate that there is a vet that can get my furry kids in fairly reasonably for last-minute appointments and that they don't charge too much over the top. For things like spay and neuter, however, that's a different story as far as price goes. I'd like to see more vets offer a more affordable price, at least once or twice a year, to give a spay clinic price.
