We’ve had a great experience with Home Away From Home. Laura and her family treat our little guy Winston like their own, making him fresh food, letting him run free in the house, and just basically providing the royal treatment. He’s a pretty happy dog but some of his happiest moments are arriving there to see Laura and the dogs, quite literally leaping out of our arms with excitement. We’re so thankful for the times and memories he’s had/continues to make with them.

We have been taking Archie to Laura for about a year now and could not speak highly enough of her! Archie absolutely LOVES going to Laura’s house. Laura is so attentive and sends updates during his stay which we always enjoy receiving. She does a great job of grooming him at the end of his stay as well. We always know he is happy and well taken care of when we are away, which is such a great feeling to have when away.

“I have vacationed at Home Away several times and I love it! At first I’m sad when I see the suitcases, but then I realize I am going to see Laura and my other family. They have two resident dogs (we may be related…they look like me) and many other furry guests. Besides the warm hugs and great belly rubs, we get to run around, play with toys, watch TV, chill or whatever we want. I don’t have siblings at home, so the pack vibe is fun! We have been taking our Bernese Mountain Dogs to Laura for 10+ years. First Chelsea and now Leo. They LOVE her and her family. Both my dogs would get excited when we turn down her street and into her driveway, so I know they’re happy to go for a short visit or a long vacation. I also appreciate Laura’s updates and photos when we are away. We love this place and so happy to have found her!

My dogs have spent many days and nights at Home Away from Home over the years. I rest easy knowing that they are well-cared for by Laura and her family. My first dog was a lively golden retriever who loved being with the other dogs; and my second dog Taylor is a quiet labradoodle who prefers being with people. Either way, Home Away from Home is a good place for them to be when we are away.

Laura is an amazing dog sitter. Laura and her family are very knowledgeable, compassionate and kind people. Laura had taken really good care of Bento for the past 4.5 years. Laura makes sure to send pictures of your pet while you are on vacation. She is the best dog sitter❤️

We have been using Laura for several years.
She takes excellent care of our two dogs.
When I pull up to her house they know they are at ‘Laura’s’, both wagging their tails and happy to be there. I love getting the pictures and updates as well, as it is such a thoughtful gesture to see how our fur babies are doing.
I also have my Cavalier groomed by Laura, and she does a fantastic job!
