This place is great. My cat got really sick and I was sick as well, so my roommate had to take my cat. The hospital called me ahead of time to get the history which expedited the whole process, and the veterinarian was very thorough in walking me through what was happening over the phone. It was expensive, but not more expensive than any other place would be, and I have pet insurance. So far all my experiences here have been positive. The staff has been really sweet which makes a difference when your pet is sick. My cat is now back home and curled up on me !

Hillside Animal Hospital continues to outdo themselves with the professionalism they show me and my pets. Each staff member from the front desk to the doctors and the vet techs are always smiling and calm. We love the care the Dr. Brittney provides for our animals and I trust her knowledge and opinion! I’ve been going to Hillside for almost 5 years. My first rescue dog loves people and has been easy as pie. My second rescue dog is scared of people. I appreciate their fear free approach to taking care of animals! I recommend all family and friends to go here. I’ve seen several doctors and always feel heard and have all of my questions answered. During the one emergency I had with my pup when he was bit by a foster dog they were able to get him in the next day to be checked out. They kept him there during the day while I was at work and I was able to pick him up after. 10/10 would recommend!

Hillside has been amazing with my two cats! The staff is kind and caring, and both Dr. Betsy and Dr. Ed were fantastic. Dr. Betsy’s calm expertise during the initial exam and Dr. Ed’s care during my cat’s first dental cleaning under anesthesia made the experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

They have been our vet for a medically complicated dog for years. They knew when to refer out for the more serious issues and have been great keeping up with the notes from specialists. When we have an emergency they can almost always fit us in. Most importantly, the vets here are willing to talk me through options practically knowing that our budget isn’t limitless. I can not recommend them enough. Our dogs quality of life has remained high due to their treatment despite multiple chronic conditions.

Terrible.. came in for 3yr shots made appointment for 3yr shot for my cat. Instead of letting me know before hand that they didn't have rabies shot on file. They could do the one year shots, Which of course is 2xs the money. In such short notice I had hard time pulling the records up. If trying to help is telling me over and over they don't have it on record. Maybe calling or emailing the place I adopted him from or scanning his chip now that's helping me find the information. I decided to just do the one year, but did specify that I'm not happy about it. Then I was told from veterinary Megan that I would have to reschedule? I said no I'm here now. Her exact quote was "well we're going to have to agree to disagree" Hate me all you want, but don't take it out on the cat. I emailed the place got voicemail left the information and within 10 minutes I had All health info including rabies shot. I've never had a problem with anyone there, but Vet Megan and your assistant Elizabeth made it very easy to go somewhere else. NEVER EVER again!!!!!!!
