We bought our lab 14 years ago from Hightest kennels. His temperament was excellent and he lived for a good 14 years. He was one of the best dogs that we’ve ever had because of his temperament and personality.

He was excellent with kids and a good adventure dog for our lives. He was healthy until the end. I would recommend Hightest fully for their wonderful breeding and service.

We booked Sandy for the 2 week intro to hunting course. Sandy is the second dog we have booked at Hightest Kennels. We are amazed at how much progress she has made!! She can now fetch, swim, do water retrieves, excited at gunshots, heel and down. Brianna was our trainer and she is amazing! She breaths training confidence. I really valued the feedback we got from her while handling our dog after it was demonstrated to us. Hands off when they jump as holding them down is a form of praise just by touch. Solid advice Brianna!!! We deeply appreciate you loving on Sandy in between training sessions! Thank you so much Brianna!! Hightest Kennels for life!

We enrolled Amber in their 2 week hunting introduction. We have seen a huge transformation in Amber's training. Some of the huge improvements that I have noticed is water retrieves, excitement on gunshots and heeling. Jenna, the nice young lady that trained with us at our 1pm appointment was very nice, well educated on training and a pleasure to train with. It was obvious to us that Jenna is very dedicated to training. We appreciated that she bent down and hugged/loved on our dog. We have golden retrievers that can been needy dogs, but we love that about this breed! Thank you Jenna!!

The staff are wonderful. Their basic training program gave us the tools to better enjoy our dog on walks and at home. We use them exclusively for boarding, as they offer boarding with refresher training. This helps us, plus our dog responds well to mental stimulation. She is always healthy and happy when we pick her up.

I recently was able to use Hightest dog resort to house my rescue pitty pinky and was very impressed with all the staff from inquiry via email, calls, check in, checking in on and pick up. I was nervous leaving her there at first (Any kennel really) since she’sa rescue and I was afraid she would feel abandoned - but she seemed happy as a clam when I picked her up so I’m looking forward to entrusting her in Hightest care again.

I originally went by to check this place out because my old boarding place was not working out. When I arrived I was welcomed and even offered a tour of the facilities. The staff was friendly and they all seemed to love what they do. This is a family owned business and the atmosphere shows. Teal was amazing, the dogs seemed happy and had spacious kennels with raised beds as well as an open area for exercise. This week will be my dogs first stay, I will keep you posted on how it goes, but from what I have seen, I have never felt more confident to leave my baby boy somewhere.
*Update* This is the only place I will take my dog now. The staff is incredible, my dog is treated so amazingly and is even better around other dogs and on a leash since taking him here. I know he is in amazing hands when I leave town. Hands down the best place for a dog to stay!

Sweet wild child Copper has improved big time. He walks great on leash wothout trying to eat your shoe strings. He now knows how to great people and make friends with other dogs.

Epic place. I will call it Disney for dogs. Our puppy is so smart and sweet. Highly recommend hightest to anyone. The smoke was from the camp fire.
