I have called 22 times in 4 days and no one answers the phone. My mom takes herself to the bathroom, though she needs assistance. She dresses herself though she needs help. Her bed is always soaked because of incontinence. I strip it and put new linens on. They are known for therapy and that is it! I do not recommend the facility

My mother is currently at Heartland for rehab. The care given to her is excellent. Very compassionate, professional and caring staff. Mary, Director of Admissions, is truly an asset at Heartland. She made my mother's transition from the hospital to Heartland run smoothly and continues to be involved in every aspect of her care. I can call anytime of day or night and everyone goes out of their way to answer my questions and give me updates. The common goal at Heartland is to give compassionate care to their patients so they can go home. Most of all, my mother is comfortable, happy, and getting the best care and rehab so she can go home. I highly recommend Heartland!

The staff is very compassionate and caring. Both of my parents were there from 2/18 until 10/18. During that time I felt close to the staff and family members of loved ones staying there. Heartland Health Henry is well known for their therapy Dept. I was there at all different hours and found the staff welcoming and the facility was always clean. The nursing staff was always attentive to my concerns and acted quickly to resolve. I highly recommend this facility and in my opinion it is the best in Illinois.

My parents both stayed at Heartland in Henry for rehab. They both became stronger and were able to go home. The nursing care was fabulous. Everyone one did a wonderful job. After my dad died mom stayed home for a while. One day she fell and she said she was okay. Later on that afternoon she complained her hip was hurting. I told her that she was going to the ER to have it checked. She refused to go by ambulance and I took her in the car. Just bruised but suggested so go to a nursing home for a rest and she would have help. The doctor sent in a social worker and she said she would call around Peoria for a place. I said I would take her to Heartland in Henry. This was approximately 9:15 at night. I told the social worker I was friends with the director of nursing. The director of nursing came in and admitted my mom. After a few days mom asked if she had enough money to stay there permanently. She enjoyed the socialization, having someone to eat with and the activities. My son died in southern Indiana and she was unable to go to the funeral. Activities planned with the priest from our church to have a memorial mass when we returned from Indiana then afterwards the staff hosted a potluck for us. So she stayed until she passed away. She chose to be on a purée diet as she had some difficulty in swallowing. She liked the purée lettuce and the kitchen help would always make an extra one. Everyone went above and beyond the call of duty. Had no complaints. Care plans kept us updated however we could always ask a nurse and they took time to explain to our satisfaction. Now I was out there 3 different times. Once after a serious surgery and for each knee replacement. I enjoyed my stay each time as I had friends working there. Each time I was given a private room. Food was great. If I didn’t like something there was always an alternate also we where able to order from the menu for the day. Rehab had me walking with my cane in no time I would recommend Heartland. Nursing made sure I wasn’t in pain. If it ever comes a time where I can no longer stay alone my kids know where to put me. You can’t ask for anything better than friends and good care

My Mom ,father-in-law & mother in law have been at Heartland Healthcare in Henry. I have found the staff to be friendly & attentive to their patients.
My family members have received excellent Quality care from Rehabilitation services, Nurses & staff. They are caring and go above and beyond what is expected of them. They treated my family with dignity and respect. I would recommend Heartland Healthcare to anyone in need of Rehabilitation to total care. It is a very well maintained facility, with excellent staff .

I have never had more of pleasurable experience than having Heartland take care of my father. Every person from the nurses to the CNA's and even the business staff be more professional than at heartland. This nursing home was very clean, they took great care of my father and I highly recommend this home to anyone that want's great care for their love ones.

We choose Heartland for my grandfather after his double/ back to back brain surgery. He was so weak, laid in bed, could not open his eyes and barely ate, we did not think he was going to make it. After about a month at Heartland my grandpa was eating, talking, moving and with the help of the excellent therapy team was even walking with a walker. My grandpa who we thought was not going to make it was able to RETURN HOME because of the skilled and caring team of nurses, CNAs, therapy workers and staff at Heartland. I would highly recommend Heartland Healthcare Center to anyone who is looking for well-rounded and loving care. Excellent facility!!

My younger sister was placed here after having the first leg amputated. She was 44 years old, a kidney dialysis patient, due to lupus. After being there for a couple of weeks, she was hospitalized for 2 days due to lupus troubles. When it was time to release her, this nursing home would not accept her back. I was told by the female Director there that my sister was "too much work". Yes, exactly what I was told, and I wouldn't recommend this place. Discrimination should not be tolerated.
