I had an emergency with my kitten Kole this morning and went to Healthy Pets! I have never been there before and they have the most wonderful and caring staff! I would like to thank Shelby and Ashton who are the receptionists they were both sweet and caring throughout the whole experience! I would also like to thank Dr. Tessler who kept in contact with us throughout the morning and explained what was happening with my kitten and the treatment he would need! And I would like to thank Adam who was an amazing nurse who helped me and my kitten he explained and answered all my questions. Adam was very sweet and kind to me! I would also like to thank both Lexi and Jody who are also wonderful nurses there! I would also like to thank Sydney the manager for getting me in without an appointment this morning! I would highly recommend Healthy Pets Veterinary Care to anyone looking for a great veterinary clinic! Wonderful staff and doctors! Thank you all so much for a great experience in a very stressful situation!

I love this place! My kitty, Lemon, has a very unique eye condition. She is completely blind and can get startled very easily by loud noises or new people. They are not only professional, but they truly do care about every pet they have the pleasure of taking care of. Their cat rooms have pheromone plugins to help keep the cats calm during their time there. I don't trust any other veterinarian clinic with Lemon and recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thank you guys for taking such good care of Lemon! You guys are the best!

2/6/24-Healthy Pets has been there for me and my family through the good times and the bad. Everyone is so patient and kind and ready to answer any questions I may have as well as go over different treatment plans depending on what we were there for. After my ol' boys dental extractions (15 total) they made sure to call and check in on both of us. They truly care about their patients and their owners. We are so thankful for the Healthy Pets team. From the doctors and nurses, to the manager, to the front desk staff, every one there makes you feel like part of the family. Thank you Healthy Pets for all you do and taking care of my fur babies! We truly appreciate you!!!!

Healthy Pets Boca saves the day again! Our old dog Dakota (14) woke up not herself with no balance they told us to come right in and saw us immediately. They took such good care of her and shes on the mend! Thank you AGAIN Healthy Pets Team!

I cannot express my appreciation enough to Dr. Tessler and her staff for the diligent care they’ve provided for my fur baby, Bleu. Since day one, Dr. Tessler has provided individual, quality attention to Bleu and all his medical needs - from neutering him to diagnosing/managing idiopathic seizures. Every staff member in this practice is extremely kind, attentive and caring. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has looked out for Bleu.

We went in with our 10 week old puppy and decided to start the paw plan to cover her spay. We figured it would be well worth it. Once we had the spay, we ended up paying a couple hundred more dollars on top of the pet plan. Every time we went in, it was like going in blind- a new price and hefty bill every single time.

After a few months of loving the plan and doctors, we noticed that the nurses and doctors were different pretty much every time and their attitudes were starting to get very rushed and rude. I don’t know if something changed in the practice with management, but they were ultimately extremely ill-mannered and impolite at our last ever visit. Very disappointed in their behavior and attitude towards my boyfriend and me as we loved 1 nurse and 1 doctor but never saw them again (assuming they left). We had also noticed the first few visits went good and they took their time but every visit after that, they tried to charge us between $200 and $1000 vet bills each time rushing a decision even if there was nothing wrong with her. I would then begin to question them about the price of the bills and they would apologize and lower it by a couple hundred dollars but said they would never do this again. But if you did not question the bills, they automatically sent you on your way and tried rushing you out the door- grabbing hundreds of extra dollars.

They did not ask us before preforming some charged services and came back out with a list of what we owed after they preformed the labs at our visits. They do not inform you well enough and expect you to assume they will come out with a large bill. I’m sure being in the Boca area they can easily up charge people. The front desk girls seem happy to help until you ask about prices, they turn sharp and abrupt when questioned and we even had a nurse snap at us after asking if we could do anything to help get her bloodwork. She was overdue from the heart worm test and they could not get a small puppy’s blood 4+ times on different days and wanted to heavily sedate her!!
We ended up spending thousands on top of our $60 a month pet plan! The plan should have been catered to cover services that are regular. The 10% discount on products and select services is not worth it. We are able to look up the products online after the visit and find it for half the price of what they charge even with the discount!!
We didn’t realize until too late that they were up charging so many different services and products. We will never be going back but unfortunately still have a contract with the pet plan.

This week I brought my Doberman in to see Dr Whyte for a possible CCL tear. Zeus is an 8 year old that has been seeing Dr Whyte since he was a puppy. Dr Whyte has over 3 decades of Veterinary experience under her belt and it immediately shows. She checked his heart ( DCM ) , carefully checked his body movement and engaged in serious questions to help find out what may have happened.
She’s really professional and is possibly the best Vet in Florida.
If you love your pet and want them back on their feet asap….

Healthy Pets Veterinary is where we take our fur baby (Mini Australian Shepherd) I love the way they treat her like family and really care! She recently had to get spayed and the experience went very smoothly, I do't know how it could have been better! The staff is very caring and helpful through the whole process and explained everything so well! The aftercare was excellent, they called to check on her numerous times and reassure us that they were there if we had any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Healthy Pets Veterinary Care!
