Our animals have received consistent care for several years. Dr. Francis is terrific in explaining details so we can make informed choices…..and get support when we need to make difficult decisions. Technicians and support staff have always been kind. When Dr. Francis is not available, we implicitly trust and value the expertise of each of the veterinarians in the practice, having received great care for our fur babies. Thank you☺️

My dog was suffering from pancreatitis. The staff scheduled him within a few hours and advised me there may be a wait. I was aware of that up front and I was thankful he was able to be fit in. Dr. Titus and her tech (wish I could remember her name) were phenomenal. They showed compassion and concern. I appreciated the fact Dr. Titus spent time educating me, so that I could help my dog during recovery. Her tech went through all the medications and made sure I had all my questions answered. After an episode earlier this year requiring an ER visit, I was grateful they could treat him as an outpatient.

We feel so very fortunate to have our dog under the care of Dr. Audrey Adkins and the staff at Haven Lake. When we moved from NJ 10 years ago we received outstanding recommendations for Dr. Adkins from multiple local pet-owners. We were very pleased with the care given to our 2 elderly dogs. Those two senior dogs have since passed on (ages 15 and 16) and we now have a 5 year old hound mix who has seen Dr. Adkins and the veterinary technicians since puppy-hood for routine services, annual exams, and the occasional condition requiring aid. Dr. Adkins and the staff always make her comfortable before addressing any problems. Dr. Adkins spends the time she needs with our pet so we are not troubled if she spends extra time caring for others. We value the thoughtful professional care and follow-up information.

I can't thank Dr Adkins enough- she was so kind and wonderful helping me navigate through my Freya's last few months with lymphoma. She is amazing at delivering the news you do not want to hear, and explains your options clearly and compassionately.
I have seen a huge improvement over the last couple of years in the reception, which had been a little abrasive, but I feel like the effort is being made in that department.
I highly recommend this practice.

Extremely rude!!!
I had been calling many different vet offices to ask a question about my bunny. And they all told me to call haven animal hospital. I needed to know the best was possible to clean off my bunny’s feet after they had gotten dirty. The lady at the front desk was very rude and sarcastic with every response given. I felt very disrespected in this situation because I kept a very respectful tone with the woman who answered the phone.
Disappointed!!!!

Called office because my cat was sick...I was told that because she “HAD NOT BEEN SEEN IN THE LAST YEAR, SHE COULD NOT BE SEEN “ that “they were NOT making appointments right now”. My cat had not been seen because she had had no issues and everything was good with her. However SHE NOW WAS SICK AND SHE WAS THIER PATIENT!, So my very sick cat had to wait until another Veterinarian could fit her in. Turned out her Kidney functions were elevated.....I buried my precious little girl today. Treatment came late for her. Don’t know if she had been seen at her OWN VET OFFICE if it would have changed anything ... BUT THEY TURNED HER AWAY !!!!! So she had to wait for treatment. I know Dr Coons passed away and that office is struggling to deal with his loss...but he was an AWESOME Vet and I seriously doubt he would be proud of what they did...he would never have turned one of his patients away or done this to any animal!!! Needless to say Haven Lake Animal HOSPITAL will NEVER BE ALLOWED TREAT MY ANIMALS AGAIN !! SHAME ON THEM !!!

We had our dog in to see Dr Adkins yesterday. We had to wait a bit because of an emergency. The staff was apologetic. They also had a huge personal and professional loss this summer, but still, everyone was light and pleasant and caring. When we left we saw a family crying in their car. They do a tough job dealing with our pets, our feelings and sadness when we lose our buddies. 'Gotta give them credit and our thanks!

They cancelled my appointment then sent me a text a half hour later wanting to confirm the appointment that they just cancelled on me. Office staff put me on hold for 7 minutes then when I called back to tell them about the text confirmation text they told me they blamed "the technology" and followed it up with "we didn't send the text".

I made the suggestion to upgrade the software to not send out texts when an appointment has already been cancelled and they took offense and seemed to think that was a silly suggestion.

Either your office staff is too incompetent to realize "technology" can be upgraded to resolve this obvious problem of sending out texts when an appointment in already cancelled or they are too incompetent to see why it is a problem in the first place.

Furthermore, it is completely ridiculous for a business to tell me "we didn't send the text" when clearly they did, just because a computer generated the text it still came from your business this is not a point anyone should need to make to your staff.

Get it together.
