English/Español review:
Where do I begin? 5 stars is not enough. Jenny is amazing! Professional, fast, super nice. I've never had a groomer experience like this. She left my baby girl exactly how I wanted her. So happy to have found her! Don't think twice about going, just book now. You won't be disappointed.
Por donde empiezo? Se queda corta con 5 estrellas. Jenny es tremenda! Profesional, rapida, super amable. Jamas he tenido una experiencia como esta con una peluquera de perros. Dejó a mi perrita exactamente como queria. Estoy contentisima de haberla encontrado. No piensen 2 veces, solo has la cita. No te decepcionará.

We agree with Mr. D Gilbert’s review!
Background: We are new to the area and our prior Groomer did Wonderful work for our Yorkie for 5+ years w/ care & love. Our Yorkie LOVES grooming visits and being clean. So much that we do baths at home bt appts and she loves those too. Note: even quick at home bath take at least 30 mins to 1hr (shampoo, condition, blow dry and brush/fluff/style).
—————————————
We have had 2 visits with Happy Paws. The 1st visit was bath-only as she said she needed at least a week notice to do full service aka bath plus cut. She was done in 20 mins and it ‘seemed’ well but we noticed nails weren’t trimmed and they didn’t know how to style the Classic Yorkie top-knot.
We returned for visit 2 to get the full-service hoping this would have better results (since full service). We requested appointment by text and she replied a full day after.
Once we arrived for appt I described what we wanted for the cut. She didn’t seem interested and gave a dismissive and rushy “yeah-yeah” type response.
When she summarized back what I wanted advising she would leave the face/head as-is and long. I advised that wasn’t what I requested and showed a pic instead to be more straightforward for her. She glanced at it and said she understood.
All the while she placed our Yorkie on the cutting table and was handling her roughly. She had her trimmers out and dusted off hair from a prior dog w/ her fingers. Was she going to cut our Yorkie dirty instead of after a bath AND with dirty trimmers?!! This prompted me to clarify “this visit does include a bath AND the cut doesn’t it?” And she assured me that it did.
I also took note our Yorkie cried upon arrival which is Very Uncustomary since she loves grooming visits. It was like your child crying for you not to leave them there!
When leaving she told me that she would be done in 20-30 mins. I didn’t want a rush job so made a point to emphasize “I am in NO rush - I can be back anytime and prefer you take your time.”
20 mins later she was done. At a glance Yorkie ‘seemed’ clean. The top knot was limp (sign of no bath) and too long/hanging in her eyes. The ponytail parting was sloppy aka thrown together instead of giving time for care and precision. And the body was cut TOO close showing some bald spots!! Not at all like the photo I showed her!
She did trim her nails. I looked closer *once home* and was devastated to see dried blood and that her nails were left RAGGED! I just imagined our Yorkie yelping in PAIN!
I asked her how she dried her so fast. She quipped back “your dog doesn’t have that much hair and I have a really good dryer”.
She then showed me how she left the eyebrow fur uncut as she wasn’t sure and asked me if I wanted them trimmed. I did bc they looked crazy. She roughly put her back on the cutting table, grabbed her neck and shoved her head back through the cutting collar (WOW)!
I asked how much and she didn’t seem to know her own prices and had to check her phone. Very Concerning!! She somehow landed at $55 (when the bath-only visit was $30). Both visits took 20 mins so not sure how she did extra services in same amount of time or justified extra $25.
Once home, I had a closer look over our Yorkie and definitely no bath. The fur/hair around her ears was still oily / greasy bc no bath. The cut was so disappointing! And her POOR NAILS!
She tried handing me our Yorkie when it was time to go. I asked to put her down and our Yorkie BOLTED out the door!!
Photos: oily fur ears, ears not cut evenly, body with bald spots, overall cut is sloppy, terrible bloody nails, top knot ponytail in her eyes and the lining along her hind legs were NOT symmetrical at all.
Our prior groomer charged $40, didn’t lie to our face or hurt our baby and Always included CUTE bows. If you know any quality groomers please let us know!
This groomer only cares about SPEED. She is not doing QUALITY work or giving care to the animals. We will NEVER go back and DO NOT recommend.

Go to Jenny!!! I called and asked if she had availability for a cut and groom and she had an opening same day. She gave my dog the best cut, trimmed his nails, cleaned his ears, gave him a bath, and even shaved a small heart into his chest—all within 30 minutes! Will definitely be back, thank you Jenny!!!

If I could give 0 I would. This lady is in such a hurry to get the dogs through she and her staff are absolutely careless. Obvious burns from the clippers over already irritated skin. When I went back for a refund which she told me she would give as now I’m going to be taking the dog to the vet to have these looked at, she refused. I got an attitude and her husband yelled at me and acted like he would break the window of the car. Absolutely terrible business out of her garage. Just because is cheap doesn’t mean she is good. Go anywhere else. In the last pic looks like good grooming but look at the stomach you can see the huge red burn.

This is the sweetest lady we have ever had groom my little Maltese! She is fast, sweet and does an amazing Job! My little dog is very difficult to groom and makes it difficult for another groomer but my little dog has become very comfortable with this lady and I will not take her anywhere else!!! She is so reasonable and so amazing with our dogs!! I can't say enough about how good she is and I Highly Highly recommend her !!!✂️?

I recently had the pleasure of bringing my dog to Happy Paws Dog Grooming, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The service was not only friendly but also incredibly fast and professional. My dog was groomed exactly as I requested, and the results were outstanding. The clean and inviting environment added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Happy Paws Dog Grooming for anyone seeking top-notch dog grooming services.
