I am writing another review to respond to the owners that commented under our review

Thank you for your response, but we need to address the inconsistencies between what was communicated to us privately and what you are now stating publicly.

In our phone conversation, your representative (who we were told was the owner during the call) admitted that the timeline aligns with these injuries developing during Draco’s stay. Specifically, you stated:
• “If he injured something while he was here, and some dirt or debris got in it, then your timeline is correct.”
• “Certainly, if it happened here on like Friday or Saturday, for example, it probably started to develop yesterday.”

This directly contradicts your public claim that it is “not possible” the injuries happened at your facility. The fact that you acknowledge the timeline aligns with Draco’s stay proves the wounds developed under your care, not after pickup.

Additionally, you claimed on the call that Draco’s black fur made the wounds “difficult to detect.” While this might explain why your staff failed to notice them, it does not absolve you of responsibility. Proper supervision involves thoroughly checking the animals in your care, especially during transitions like drop-off and pickup. Your failure to notice and inform us of these wounds reflects a lack of attention, not an unavoidable oversight.

To further address your claim that the injuries were “minor scratches,” the wounds required immediate veterinary care, cleaning, and antibiotics, and they are still being monitored for infection. The veterinarian explicitly stated these injuries were consistent with repeated irritation or jumping on surfaces—circumstances that occurred under your supervision.

Your attempt to shift blame to us by suggesting the injuries worsened during the 24-hour gap before the vet visit is both misleading and unprofessional. Had your staff informed us of the wounds during pickup, we could have sought care immediately instead of discovering the issue after Draco’s behavior alerted us.

We trusted your facility with Draco’s safety, and you failed to provide the level of care promised. The contradictions in your communications and your unwillingness to take responsibility for what occurred only reinforce our disappointment.

A friend told me about how poorly Han Dover Your Rover treated their dog, including neglecting serious injuries that occurred during boarding and refusing to take responsibility. Based on what I’ve heard, I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable and safe care for their pets.

Han Dover Your Rover is a place i’d recommend to everyone looking for a daycare/boarding facility. Jack is a year old lab mix and has problems with jumping/hyperactivity but the staff is so patient, kind, and understanding with him. He loves this building and the people in it! i absolutely adore that they’re treated like little humans with the swimming, movie nights, and arts and crafts projects. I’m from oklahoma and often have to board jack for up to a week when i visit my family back home and Han Dover takes AMAZING care of him while im gone! thank you guys so so much!

The love and joy that my furry children receive when they come to daycare is just beyond imagination! The quality of service and care that is given across the board gives me comfort while I’m away on holiday! My Corso, Nia, loves getting pampered every two weeks in their amazing spa and my Presa Canario, Ghost, loves playing with all of his friends in the yards! They even take the care to celebrate their birthdays which shows that they will always go the extra mile to insure that my dogs have the best quality time!

We boarded our dog at Han Dover Your Rover, and it was a terrible experience. He came home with severe wounds on his legs that required immediate vet care, and the facility refused to take responsibility. Their lack of supervision and accountability was unacceptable. Avoid this place.

One of the best places I feel comfortable leaving my dogs, whether it's for daycare or boarding. All the staff is friendly and clearly loves dogs and they have fun doggy events. My dogs get excited when we come around the corner and drag me into the building!

This is the 2nd time I’ve used this facility for boarding purposes and I have no complaints. The staff here are kind and helpful. I do love that you can schedule your pups accommodations as well as extras (individual play time, cuddle time etc.)online which saves me time. I used to board my pup in Middletown but not anymore. Han Dover Your Rover will be my 1st choice for all of our boarding needs.
