I received excellent care during my stay at Greenwood Rehabilitation Hospital for my broken hip. The doctors and nurses were attentive and helpful with my medications and physical and occupational therapy.

I had very caring and knowledgeable nurses, techs, and therapists even right through the awful Hurricane Helene in our area! They got me ready to come home with a fractured wrist, ankle, clavicle, sternum, and with a temporary colostomy bag. I had a lot going on due to a head on collision, but I was so thankful for my stay there to prepare me for HOME!

The entire staff--nurses, therapists, etc.--all work to try to get a patient to the optimum status so they can go home. They push you hard but respect you at the same time and if you get to a point where you can't do any more, they accept your comments. However, patients must be positive and want to get better; patients must do everything possible to cooperate with staff requests, especially in therapy.
I hope I never have to go through rehab again, but if I do, I will be insistent that GRRH is where I want to be.

My husband John was a patient at Greenwood Rehabilitation Hospital for 2 weeks. Every person we came in contact with treated us as if we were family. I can’t say enough at the techs and nurses. Physical and occupational therapy services knock it out of the park! Chris and Laurie were our favorites. I would recommend this rehabilitation Hospital to anyone whom wants to get better and stronger!

From the admitting process, rehabilitation, nursing staff, CNAs, and case manager, the experience here was stellar! The patient experience was great and as a family member, it meant the world to me have my family member well cared for at such a critical time.
