Amazing Doggy Daycare/Boarding – Highly Recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Green Dog! As a dog owner, finding a trustworthy, safe, and fun place for my dog to spend the day is a top priority, and this place exceeds all expectations. Everybody is very welcoming, the place is always clean, and my pup looks happy.

Took my double coated rescue dog here for a groom after rescuing him. They did a phenomenal job deshedding his entire coat and taking care of him. He was happy to see them and happy when he left! Will be returning for his monthly grooms.

We have been sending our puppy to Green Dog for the past month and absolutely love it!

Both boarding and daycare are great. Every drop-off our 10-month old puppy is greeted by name at the door and all the employees are incredibly caring and welcoming. Their online portal is easy to use to input all of your preferences, meal times, nap schedule, allergies, etc. and they follow your instructions to a T.

The team goes above and beyond with email wellness updates while boarded. They also recommend additional services (baths, walks, etc.) when needed, and will even wash her blanket and toys before pick-up.

Lennon has lots of energy and Green Dog is the one thing that will tucker her out. Clearly by the photos you can see she is having a great time 🙂

We brought our 6 month Golden Retriever to Green Dog for the first time today. We have been to other doggy daycares in the area, but felt like Gwen never came home tired or got to play much. We love that Green Dog has the pups outside the majority of the day. Gwen was safe, had fun, and the Instagram updates from their handlers made us feel extra good about her first experience there. She came home happy as a clam and totally exhausted!!

Green Dog is the best! We send our boxer there for day care and boarding when we need to - the staff are so lovely and so kind sending updates of your pup too! She always comes back so happy and tired!

So i literally never leave reviews but I need to leave one for Green Dog. I can only speak to their grooming because I only bring my dogs for grooming but their staff and their groomers are PHENOMENAL.

I have two mini goldendoodles, have been in Chicago for 5 years and thus have gone to a plethora of Groomers in the city. Every time I take my puppies to a groomer I’m literally crossing my fingers, toes everything I can in hopes that they don’t come back looking jacked up/ like Lord Farquaad (and it’s been a toss up every time) especially when nowadays you have to make an appointment 4 months in advance. With Green Dog they’ve come back every time looking phenomenal. The groomers have done exactly what I’ve asked every time and have by far given my puppies their best haircuts in the city (and have done so consistently).

The staff is so friendly and is so helpful with making appointments, calling to clarify if they need additional clarity on the cut etc. their prices are also extremely fair especially with how high quality the haircuts have been. They also have appointments available regularly so you don’t have to make an appointment 2-3 months out. I never leave reviews but Green Dog earned this one. I will recommend them to anyone who asks me.

Our dogs, Spud & Strider, love it here. Spud is usually anxious when he has to be boarded, but he walks into Green Dog with his tail wagging. The staff always greet them by name as soon as we walk in the door. It shows they truly care and are dog-loving people. We've tried other boarding places in Chicago and they don't come close to the level of care shown at Green Dog. Thank you to the hard-working staff for giving our pups a home away from home!
