My dog was left outside in the freezing cold temperatures while they cleaned inside. He got frostbite on his ears and ended up losing part of his ears. Owners denied it happened there even though they admitted to leaving him outside. They would not accept any responsibility. Do not go there!

First word - CLEAN. Like eat off the floor clean. Plus spacious individual tiled kennels and fenced outdoor runs. While my dogs don't enjoy being separated from me, I'm confident that they are well cared for by the owners. They accommodate different meal and medication regimens. I have been a client for several years and don't want to consider using anyone else!

The Grateful Dog is the best kennel we have ever used. It is very clean and the kennels are a great size. We have 3 dogs and they are all boarded together in one kennel. Shelly is so friendly and definitely an animal lover! She has always been very flexible if we need to pick-up or drop off outside of the normal hours. I know the location is a little off the beaten path, but definitely worth the extra time to drive out there. Our dogs are part of our family so I really worry about them when we are away. When they stay at the Grateful Dog I know they are in great hands, and will be well taken care of.

As hard as it is to leave a pup behind for a vacation, this is the place our pup loves to be while we’re gone. Clean, spacious kennels, and a dog loving caretaker. We drive 30 miles to drop our Bella off with Shelly. Every time we’re gone, we feel very confident that Bella get’s the love and care she deserves.

People need to be very careful with this kennel we boarded our 2 dogs for the first time and it will be the last time our dogs will be boarded our Chocolate Lab was traumatized by whatever happened to him our elderly dog was limping and had medicine that wasn’t given to him (we counted out the pills before boarding)their can food was supposed to be refrigerated after opening and wasn’t we called them when we were on our way back from our trip and she wasn’t happy about us showing up they were also supposed to be taking videos of them and didn’t We Don’t Recommend This Place If You Care For Your Dogs because they sure DON’T
