The team at Goodvets Roscoe Village were absolutely amazing when I had to take my little boy Buddy to be put down. They made me feel very comfortable with the decision after examining him, and a week or two later I even received a condolences card, with a short message from likely their whole team. It was one of the sweetest things I'd ever seen. If I ever need to take my other cat in for anything, I'll be very confident taking him here.

We had a wonderful experience at GoodVets in Roscoe Village. There was no wait time for our 10 am appointment, the vet was straightforward and explained the best options for the health of our cats in simple terms, and gave us options with pricing. Special shoutout to our vet tech Mike, who was so incredibly wonderful with our babies. We have been struggling with brushing our cats teeth since we brought them home, and Mike gave us some great advice that is working very well. He was so sweet and really seemed to care for our cats (and they could definitely tell he was a great person because they were so comfortable around him!) We will definitely be back for any medical needs for our pets, and would definitely recommend GoodVets in Roscoe Village to anyone in need of a trustworthy veterinarian!

Very very kind staff and informative team, including Drs. Ford & Beauchamp. I took my cat, Smokey, here for treatment with a heart murmur and CKD.

Ultimately I had to go elsewhere for costs, as he was a 17 year old kitty cat and I was dealing with financial hardships. However, they were *very* careful and attentive, and compassionate about my situation. They were able to offer more cost-accessible treatments for Smokey for the while I was going through this hard time.

Smokey unfortunately passed about a month ago of renal failure and tonight I received a mailed letter signed by every doctor and technician in their office. Top tier service and quality care - I will likely be bringing our next cat to Dr. Ford once we're ready to adopt a rescue in the future!

I’ve waited awhile to do this review, because it’s mixed and I want to be fair. Here’s the thing - Dr Ford at this location is great. Knowledgeable and compassionate - digs into a problem and gives you his full attention. However, when you join their wellness program you’re told they have these great Saturday hours, open into the evenings, multiple locations that you can access if needed. The front desk reps are friendly and efficient, but the RV location is almost NEVER open on saturdays, never has appts available at 5 or 6pm after work, and often closes the doors before the posted hours, so don’t just drop in for supplies on the way home.

Today was the first time I needed the feature of another location - our 11 year old retriever has an appt scheduled for Monday for his regular (4th) arthritis injection but he started showing some discomfort on Friday evening. Of course RV location is closed, so I called THREE other GoodVets in the city. While they all have access to his records and can see the appt for the injection on Monday, none of them would give him a simple tech-administered shot unless I made a doctor appt and “established care” at that location (which they couldn’t offer over the weekend even if I wanted to go that far). So now the dog gets to sit in discomfort all weekend, why on earth does that make sense?

Bottom line - I spend $1300 per year for their wellness package which I will now cancel as it doesn’t even come close to paying off thru 10% discounts on care. The vet care is good, but I just spent $2,000 (on top of the annual wellness package) testing for GI issues to find out dog has irritable bowel. Those are basically the same rates I’ve paid at other city and suburb vets, without a membership. That’s fine - they never actually claimed to be a discount vet. But if your search prioritizes evening and weekend care, flexible scheduling and multiple locations, the GoodVets organization hasn’t delivered on my expectations.

Had a suddenly ailing kitty this morning and regular vet was booked. I accidentally bumped into GoodVets Roscoe Village and was able to get an appointment for the afternoon. I’m so grateful for this facility and the staff. Dr. Beauchamp and tech Mike took fabulous care of my kitty cat. Tests were run and now we have medicines and should see improvement soon. Such a relief. I was extremely stressed. Zoe at the front desk was awesome twice when she helped me get the appointment and then getting us in our exam room upon arrival. All great work by everyone. Facility is beautiful too. Very clean.

I trust Dr. Beauchamp and her team to take care of both Einstein and Pixie. She's is obviously smart and correctly diagnoses my two senior dogs, but just as importantly we feel like she really cares about them. I have had nothing but positive experiences with everybody, including the reception desk and vet assistants.

Have had an excellent experience so far. Scheduling is easy and the front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. I have had no problem getting appointments quickly, and they have been extra helpful as my cats get started with a new medication routine. Dr. Ford has been clear and transparent with his recommendations, and I can tell that my cats health is always his top concern.

I am so grateful I found Good Vets.

I had been bringing Toby to another place, Pulaski Animal Hospital, for more than 10 years. When Toby started to wake up in the middle of the night and fainting, his doctors told me it might be neurological and he needed to see a specialist, but I knew that wasn't right. After Pulaski Animal Hospital refused to take Toby in without an appointment, I went online and found Good Vets. They had an opening the next day, and I took it.

Dr. Ford and Mike, the tech, were so amazing with Toby and were so gentle with him since he was a senior dog. Dr. Ford ran all the necessary tests and found Toby had Advance Heart Failure, an enlarged heart, and ascites. Dr. Ford was great at explaining everything and he took the time to talk about options. Toby was put on medication and was doing great, but the medication was affecting his liver fast. Dr. Ford suggested euthanasia and I knew that was the best option. Toby passed away in my arms at age 16 on Sept 12th, 2023.

I will never forget Dr. Ford and Mike, the tech, for caring for Toby and giving him his last few weeks of comfort. I recommend Good Vets and Dr. Ford to all my family and friends.
