Horrible! Just got off the phone with this vet explaining my dog's health is failing and explained that I'd like to get injections for arthritis to see if that will help. My Yorkiepoo is moving slower, not eating as much, or as often. He shivers a little bit off and on which could indicate pain or discomfort. It is March 12th, 2025 and the woman told me that with "new patients" they are booked out until July! I asked if they could fit us in as an emergency and she said no. Something that would probably take less than 15 minutes, that could make my dog's final weeks or months more comfortable or possibly extend his life and they refused to help. Very sad!

I had to take my elderly cat to Good Life today. It is the best vet office I have been to so far. It's clean, open, sunny and they had two beautiful cats just hanging around, which you can pet if you'd like.Dr. Levine and the rest of the staff were friendly,knowledgable and understanding, and I liked the fact that they examined and took blood samples from my cat in front of me, as oposed to going to the back room. Nail clipping was free, and they are going to order a compond gel for my cat, which I requested, but was denied to me by two diffrent offices. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recomend!

Dr. Estrick and team are one of a kind. I have been bringing my two cats (Murphy & Moose) to Good Life for 4 years and they have received outstanding care.
We recently had to put down our 5-month-old puppy, Monty, and the thoughtful and thorough care that the team at Good Life gave to him and to us was just amazing. The extra mile that the team went to answer all questions/calls and checking in on us was very much appreciated and did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Good Life for being AMAZING!

Dr. Levine is a dream come true and every single one of the staff here is an absolute angel. I absolutely cried when I moved when I realized I would have to give up this office. I have two sphynx brothers who love going here and would happily visit every day if not for the fact that they hate car rides.

Don't let the minor prepayment for your new patient appointment scare you off. I like the fact that the office does everything in their power to ensure that appointments are kept so that they don't have to rush when you are scheduled like human doctors do! Beyond that, their fees are very reasonable and they never shamed me for needing a price estimate up front because of my financial situation.

As for their treatment of my boys, you would have thought they were royalty! They treated my two little princes so gently and were so doting that they had a great time every single time we went. Even when my tiny heathens were behaving like scoundrels (walking across laptops, demanding treats, being little piggies when they *were* giving treats, etc), Dr. Levine and her team were incredibly patient. I could also text with questions and pictures! In fact, I'll probably keep the latter up after I move 😉

Take your pet(s) here. Especially your cats. I've used "cats only" vets and even those can't compare to Dr. Levine. I can't say enough good things about the whole place. <3 UPDATE: After months of trying to find a new vet in the Chicago area, we now drive an hour back to Gurnee to see Dr. Levine and her magical staff. My boys absolutely will not tolerate anyone else!

Our Bentley has been going there his whole life, even before we adopted him. When I called to tell them that we had adopted him and he needed to get up to date on this vaccines, they got him in within two days. Everyone knew him when he arrived after not seeing him for a year, and they treated him like a little prince. To be fair, he’s a great dog and easy to love. Thanks for making our baby comfortable during his visit!

Would highly recommend this vet office. Dr. Levine, Dr. Estrick and staff are very knowledgeable as well as super sweet and compassionate. The office is also very nice, cheery, and clean.
