Highly recommend. They are companionable and do not over charge or do unessesary testing. Had to put my baby girl down yesterday there. The vet is very knowledgeable. Thank you to the 2 girls there last night and to the vet last night for helping me through all this. Lily's mom. Ps. They get you in right away too.

Very confused with all the positive reviews. The front desk was very kind and helpful but the doctor himself did not even touch my dog once to check on her. We went in for a visit due to my dog limping very badly and he didn’t even touch her once to check on her. How can you be a vet and not even touch the animal that’s trying to receive help for an injury. Just gave us a prescription and sent us on our way. She is still limping btw. Appointment was not helpful at all.

I have to give them 10 star review!!! I have taken two of my female frenchies here for there C-sections and they were treated like queens here well taken care of… the staff here are so friendly and very punctual.. they will answer there phones when you call and answer all your questions also they call you with updates I live that also the scares from the surgery have healed so nicely no complications at all!!!! And the puppies are doing so good!!! I’m so happy we found this amazing vet they really are the best can’t say enough good things about this place… Highly Recommended thanks so much you guys

I was quoted at least $1,800 but realistically closer to $2,500 for the sedation and dental cleaning from my 11-year-old cat in San Francisco. One veterinarian suspected that eight extractions would be necessary, and suspected that it would be at least $2,500 if not more. I didn't want to pay that much, and wanted a second opinion before extracting so many teeth, so I drove from San Francisco to Lathrop to get my cat treated at Golden Valley Pet. From the moment I walked into the new veterinary clinic, I knew that my cat was in good hands. The receptionist was warm, courteous, and professional, and I immediately felt like I was leaving my pet in very good care. After doing x-rays, and the cleaning, they did not do any extractions. afterward, they gave me honest feedback on my cats Dental condition, and I sensed integrity and honesty rather than just opportunistic revenue seeking. Overall, my cat received top notch dental cleaning, all for $900. It was worth the drive, and I'm very pleased with the service and highly recommend Golden Valley Pet.

Pet was seen here for an ear infection, my dog was very squirmy due to the fact she doesn’t like her ears being touched. Veterinarian said we had to sedate her in order to flush her ears out since she doesn’t stay still. We paid 250 just for the sedative just to be told after the we have to administer drops ourselves at home knowing that she doesn’t like her ears touched.. last vet she was seen at she had the same type of infection where they administered a one time dose medication that made it convenient. We called them the next day to ask if she can receive that medication instead and never got a call back. Won’t be going here again.

I've been bringing my dog here for a year now, initially there was a good doctor here I don't remember his name, he seemed very concerned about my dogs well being and I felt he put effort into his work, but he did not last long? Now I have a different doctor, this doctor never touches my dog whenever I bring my pet in but I still get charged for an exam? The staff is friendly and helpful with the exception of one. I like the size of the lobby, large enough to maintain a distance between pets, Walker Vet off Hammer lane in Stockton has a very small lobby, sometimes I'd have to stand outside and wait to check in because theres too many people and pets in their lobby. Overall, Golden Valley is not that bad, there are worse, but they also are not the best.
