My self and my daughter have had our hair done by the amazing Cloe ? Full set of Gel-x and pedicure by Jadyn. My experience in this salon has been amazing. Even though Cloe is who does our hair and Jadyn does my nails, every stylist in there is welcoming, happy, and just all around amazing. The best vibe in the salon. I 10/10 recommend. ☀️

Took me a year to finally select a new hair salon after moving here. After reading many posts, I finally decided to choose Ginger Snaps and I’m SO happy I did!!! Jess did an amazing job!! New color and a new cut - I LOVE it!!! I’m so glad I found her!!

I've discovered Ginger Snip's when I was looking for a place, other than a barber shop, for men's haircut. This place was recommended by a local resident, so I decided to give it a try. Needless to say that I've discovered a gem! The owner, Ginger, was a friendly as can be and gave me a wonderful haircut. I would highly recommend Ginger if anyone is looking for an alternative to the typical barber shop! Oh, did I mention that the price was also very reasonable?

Average is a good word, I will go somewhere else $15 to much for this? red hair girl worst cut? May be bu Not passionate enough with the work... Chiefland need a some hispanic Master barbers.

This is my $80 mani/pedi. I was visiting from out of town and called the week before to get an appointment at 9am on Monday. The nail tech showed up at 9:30am. Not a huge deal. I wanted acrylics, she didnt do those. Not a big deal. She did gels and said they should last 3 weeks. I went to pay. She didnt accept credit card, so I had to run a nd get cash from the ATM. It was $65 for mani/pedi. As you know you cant withdrawal in $5 increments. So, I gave her a $15 tip. This was fine, because she did work hard. But what really is rotten that a week later the nail polish loosened on the nails and fell off. By then it was too late to go back and get it repaired. I dont think the workmanship eas bad, I think the nail polish was cheap and old.

I’m a 64 year old woman who has a medical issue, I called ginger snap for help with my wig getting cut in a style professionally but when I call them I heard them laughing and mocking me over the phone because they didn’t want to wait on me and I explained to them how my hair falls out from my medical condition it didn’t matter they didn’t even care enough to not let me hear the things they were alll saying it didn’t matter to them. I cried a few tears and tried to call them back and cancel the appointment and they wouldn’t even answer so I left a message.Be careful how you make fun of someone you never know who you are entertaining. God knows everything we say and do. I heard everything on the phone. I pray that God give you all what you need and not what you deserve if that’s the way you guys treat a customer. I called to make an appointment for a woman’s haircut. I assumed being a salon that the option of shampoo and style would be asked option however was never asked as a first time customer I feel like it should have been presented. I walked in was greeted snotty if I had an appointment which I replied yes. I was told to come back and have a seat which I did. There was a man seating in a chair but clearly not having services done. I was asked what I was looking for and explained I wanted a long bob cut with the front angled longer than the back. The girl cutting my hair was not only impersonal she also was more concerned on why her boyfriend was leaving than doing my hair. She even was cutting my hair while on the phone with him very unprofessional and uncomfortable to a new potential client. I tried asking about scheduling a appointment for color and was bluntly told that it would be a long process and with the red in my hair it wouldn’t be worth it never asked what colors I was even looking for. My hair was chop as a dry cut never so much as even wet down or asked if I wanted it styled just cut and sent on my way looking a hot mess. One would expect as a salon you would want clients to feel welcome and looking great while headed out the door that was not even close to my experience. Then I was asked to do a review with my receipt so I answered it honestly only to have Chloe personally text me this text message…Hi so um I would like to clarify some things. So your haircut um l left an angle the front was longer than the back also I did a dry cut because I knew it had been cold outside and when it's cold I try not to wet clients hair. As well um a shampoo blow dry and style is separate from just a cut and we charge different for all of that compared to a regular dry cut. I also did not say there was no point in doing your hair changing the color I was just explaining the things that you would have to go through before you had your desired color and the up keep.
You seemed very happy with your hair when you left. But if you're unhappy I do apologize I feel as though everything was fine when you had left. Which again is very unprofessional a call to address my concerns would have been perfectly acceptable but to not even text from the office phone but her personal phone completely unacceptable. Needless to say I was recommended by many Cedar Key friends however I will never return to this atmosphere as long as Chloe is employed there!
