I’ve had such good experiences here. The staff are kind and patient. I’ve never once felt like I wasn’t important or like there was chaos, even though I know that office is always busy, which speaks volumes about the level of professionalism and the character of the team that works there.

Dr. Don is like no other. In all my years of having pets and moving from state to state, I’ve never had a vet like him. He’s a straight shooter - he truly cares about you and your pets. He’s not hurrying you out of the office, trying to make money on unnecessary things. He gives you the whole picture of what’s happening, speaks in your language, explains everything and answers the dozens of questions you have with understanding, patience and kindness.

I’ve been there several times and the latest visit was unfortunately to say goodbye to my beloved cat who was only 6 but had heart failure. He was warm and compassionate and knew just what to say to help me through the experience. He is one of a kind and I can’t speak more highly of him.

Georgetown Animal Hospital is by far the finest veterinary hospital I have ever visited. Every other hospital I've been to in the area pales in comparison. It's not only that the co-veterinarian, Dr. Don, is compassionate, caring, and simply phenomenal at his profession, his entire staff works like a seamless team all working on the same project. It's a family-owned hospital, Dr. Don and his brother are the veterinarians. It's multi-generational, their father was a vet too. The place was pretty much spotless. Wait time was almost zero before I was in the exam room, in about 10 minutes the doctor came in. You just don't meet veterinarians like this anymore, all the hospitals are corporate owned and try to get you to spend more money than you need to, and you won't get that here. He spent extra time on my initial visit explaining about what I can do at home to take care of my dog, that no other vet has ever shared with me. 100% totally amazing. Georgetown Animal Hospital is THE hospital for your best friend.

I know people have said it's got or miss and at first I would've agreed but after 2 visits I couldn't be happier. Once they had more than one visit with me any my baby it's been great. Highly recommend Dr. Don and his staff. Very pleasant experience and the staff are very friendly

In the early 90's, I packed all four little kids into the car to head for church on Easter Sunday. I ran over our family cat while backing out of the driveway, and we were all devastated. Both veterinarian brothers, Dr. Don Gooss DVM and Dr. John Gooss DVM told me to go to church and they would pick up the cat (on Easter Sunday). They did surgery on her and returned her that week. They knew i was not able to afford their services, but they did this as a gift to our family. She lived until almost all the kids graduated from high school. Im sure this is not the norm, but this was a demonstration of their love and compassion for the Lord, people in need, and animals.

I call the Georgetown Animal Hospital with a concern I had for one of my canines friends. My appointment was scheduled within one week. The staff was very friendly and accommodating the morning I arrived with Hakuna Matata (my 8 month old Cane Corso male).
When I arrived at the GAH at the end of the day to pick up Matata I was well pleased with the entire experience... super impressed with the service I received.
