I had an awesome experience. I felt connected with the other patients and staff treated me like a person unlike other facilities I have been to in the past. I enjoyed the open campus setting and also playing volleyball. The groups were very engaging and direct. I would highly recommend this facility wanting to get clean sober, and happy.

My experience with Genesis House was deeply disappointing. I entrusted my significant other to their care based on assurances from the staff that this was the best option for his recovery. Unfortunately, he was unable to maintain sobriety for even two weeks after returning home.

I was initially told that I would be actively involved in the treatment process, but that turned out to be false. My only contact with the facility was through brief weekly phone calls where I was simply informed that my loved one was “doing well.” Beyond that, I was not allowed to attend any meetings, counseling sessions, or treatment programs. Their so-called “aftercare” was virtually nonexistent.

It became clear that their primary focus was financial gain rather than genuine rehabilitation. Once they had exhausted my insurance coverage, I never heard from them again. Instead of providing meaningful support, they heavily medicated my significant other to keep him sedated and compliant during his stay. When he was discharged, he was given a month’s supply of medication, which he consumed within a week. Once those prescriptions ran out, he immediately relapsed and returned to using illegal substances.

Genesis House failed to deliver on its promises and did little to support long-term recovery. I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking real help for addiction.

The staff was extremely welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the get go. The nursing and medical staff was amazing. i really enjoyed the lay out of the property and basketball court. i enjoyed the activities they did during down time. the groups very informative and helpful. anyone looking for help this place is the real deal 100%. positive experience all around.

Genesis House was a truly amazing and transformative experience. The staff was friendly, caring, and helpful. I didn’t know what to expect when I first came in (first time in rehab), but they far exceeded what I had hoped for.

I learned so much, made a ton of lifelong friends, and feel more like myself than I have in decades.

I had a great experience overall. The staff is very knowledgeable, they are all in recovery. The staff really went out of the way to help me, and truly cared. The property was well kept. I felt like the groups and therapy were personable and got lots of positive feedback. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is struggling with substances or addiction.

Genesis was a night and day difference from my the last facility i went to prior. The staff was amazing. From the techs to group facilitators, nurses, and therapists. Food was good. Community was all like minded people that were truly focused on their own recovery. Built a family at Genesis. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

my time at this facility was very eye opening. it helped realize i needed recovery in my life and good understanding of addiction. the staff was very helpful, motivating, and encouraged me through out the treatment process. i enjoyed the AA and NA meetings they brought into the facility. i was able to deal with trauma through therapy i had that facility. i was able to learn a lot about myself. i loved the chiropractor two times a week. this facility was recommended and i am so glad that i came here for help and would recommend it to everyone who is going through the struggle of addiction.

I had a great experience at Genesis House, URP. The techs, the facilitators, and the other patients were amazing. MJ and Daniel deserve to be specifically mentioned because they are just all around great workers AND they genuinely love their job. The property was clean and easy to get around. The nursing staff was friendly as can be. Courtney and Melissa were the best nurses. I give lots of appreciation to Genesis House URP for helping me kickstart my recovery, making my 7 day detox period as comfortable and easy as could be. Another big thanks to the community of friends I made; they also made the start of my journey as comfortable and easy. All in all, I recommend seeking out information from Genesis House, URP, to see if this recovery/detox and residential facility would be a great fit for you.
