Porque yo estuve en ese hospital F excelente me trataron bien yo lo recomiendo al 100% que no me conozcan en el hospital o diferentes personas soy Pablo Durán OK yo lo recomiendo al 100% este hospital te ayuda mucho me ayudaron mucho a mí y una vida normal con medicamento pero normal gracias hospital de Garfield

I would definitely recommend this place. My daughter had a positive experience. The staff, nurse, and Dr were all very very helpful and there anytime I had questions. I felt all of our concerns were heard and we got the best of help. Jaime (social worker) was very nice, supportive, and stayed in constant contact giving updates and being available. She is incredible at her job!

My daughter had a great experience there, She loves Ms. Pat & said how she is very organized and likes to keep things neat. There was also a lady there I do not know her name, that is very knowledgeable with keeping the children from self harming themself , she noticed the smallest thing & let me know that kids could try to hurt themselves with it. My daughter was dreaming of ponies the night before her discharge. Overall they did a wonderful job with making my daughter leave happy . I'm very proud to say that. The young lady who discharged her was wonderful and the receptionist and in take were very professional. They kept in contact with me on a daily basis to inform me about my daughter's progress, and any medication that maybe needed.

Garfield Park's PHP program is did amazing work with my daughter. Pam checked in with me every week, my daughter started right after Thanksgiving. She's now on a medication regimen that helps her to stay calm and pull herself out of her tantrums. Next week she'll be discharged & transition back to school. My daughter's mental issues would leave me in tears & her teacher could not get a handle on things. Sue & Pam have been wonderful getting to know my daughter, starting her medication, checking in with her behavior at home & keeping me informed on her progress. I was at the point where I was considering a girls home for her because of the emence stress we were under. I see a huge difference in her behavior & her mood swings are minimal. Can't thank this place enough for getting us on the track to mental wellness & after care so that her therapy can continue.

DO NOT!!!!!! DO NOT send your kid here! My kid was discharged over a week ago. They gave me prescriptions for medication that insurance does not cover! I have called them over 50 times with NO RESPONSE! Should rename this hospital “Negligence Hospital” my kid still doesn’t have meds that they need! HORRIBLE PLACE for any treatment

This is not a child safe hospital. I have been here multiple times through out my youth, and each time has done more damage then solved. I came back up on the unit after a very emotional visit. and had a nurse named Taylor tell me I needed a shot for crying. Not harming myself or other, just crying and that what enough for sedation. She taunted me over the fact I had no parents and when I started to cry more she used that to back her "medical opinion" to sedate me. I had degraded daily by staff for struggling with mental issues... at a mental hospital! I will say personally this hospital gave me trauma I did not go into it with. I hope you make the right choice in not sending your child here.

The staff was kind, my son got a lot of help, really enjoyed the staff said they were kind and understanding. He felt comfortable and able to open up to them. So thank you for helping my son.
