Hi! We just met Tim for the first time today. He was so nice and a pleasure to speak with. He came to my home to evaluate our situation with our two 13 week old puppies. He asked thorough questions which really targeted our needs and expectations for training our puppies. He was very informative and thorough and clear on how his training program works. We can't wait to get started this week.
Another pleasure we had with Tim was he was very helpful and flexible on times that works for my family to train the dogs. He also helped us out and worked out a fair and reasonable price for the training program. We are eager to start. Thank you!

My wife and I searched and talked to a lot of trainers and Choose Fun Dog Training. Johara was our trainer and we completed the 6 week advanced course with her and we are over thrilled. We rescued a dog that before did not listen, ate everything in sight and was hard to handle, he was always jumping on people and now because of Johanna and Fun Dog Training we have a dog that listens and is great to take out in public.

Updateto onwers reply - I was preset for all training sessions at my home when the trainer came and I don't even have a daughter, I have son(s), so this goes to show how inaccurate the reply is from the owner. *Do yourself a favor and learn from youtube videos instead.

Paid $500 for 6 time training session and we were guaranteed that our puppy would learn all of the commands. To no fault of the trainer, she was descent, but more to Tim, the owner who did not respond or answer requests for information sent to him as well as concerns. Trainer spent maybe 3 hrs total with our puppy for the 6 training sessions.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - this place is a SCAM! It has another location listed on Google where he has nothing but bad reviews, as well as Yelp, BBB, and YP.

I wished I had looked at all reviews before choosing Fun Dog. I had called other trainers but they called back first and I was eager to get help for my young rescue Wyatt, a 9 pound Maltese-Shitzu mix that was obviously traumatized from previous abuse and extremely afraid of men. Tim Barker came out to evaluate him and promised he had the perfect trainer for traumatized and abused dogs. He even upsold me from once a week to twice a week for faster results and charged upfront $700 for 10 lessons (2x/week for 5 weeks).

The trainer, Adam, showed up completely unprepared: no muzzle, no treats, nothing to assist with training a frightened puppy. Adam ended up getting bit but still made an appointment for a few days later, giving me a list of items to purchase prior to our next session.

I purchased all the items, just to have him cancel at the last minute stating his hand still hurt. I asked to reschedule for the weekend, which he did, but then cancelled again because his kids kept him up all night and he didn't get much sleep. He never contacted me again to reschedule, until I called the owner for a refund.

Adam and Tim never called me back and would only respond via text. Tim made all kinds of excuses and insisted I continue to work with Adam because he was the best with abused dogs. I disputed the charge with my bank, but Tim the owner LIED to my bank stating I had rescheduled all the sessions. I went to the Better Business Bureau, and he LIED again about the circumstances, stating he would not dispute the chargeback a second time, guaranteeing me a refund. Of course, he did dispute it and the bank stated he refused to provide a refund because I had received the services.

When he saw the bad review I posted on Yelp, he texted the same excuses for why I didn't get my money back again, blamed the "processor" of his credit card transactions for me not winning the 2nd dispute, and offered to refund me on a weekly schedule. I have spoken with my bank in depth about the chargeback, and they confirmed that his excuses are lies and that it doesn't work that way. Indeed Mr. Barker has learned from experience how to play the game of credit card chargebacks with the bank to keep his customers hard-earned money for services never received.

Mr. Barker was actually responding to ALL his negative reviews on Yelp, making excuses for how each issue wasn't his fault, everything was just a misunderstanding, and he wanted to make things right. Of course I have received no money or response since he texted me privately Monday 2/5/18. I responded back on Thursday 2/8/18, and still no check or acknowledgement

ATTENTION TIM BARKER - if you truly planned to reimburse me, you could have easily mailed me a check for ANYTHING as a good faith payment to make things right, but again all you provide is EMPTY PROMISES to redeem yourself from all your bad reviews.
Stop scamming your customers and employees: YOU DO NOT DESERVE FREE MONEY!
