I went and looked at a kitten on 11-8-24 and I had mentioned I’d like to have the Siamese kitten with the blue eyes and the lady said nothing about how I could put some money down or fill out paperwork to obtain the kitten she had red hair. So is she told me she’d like to keep him a couple more days bcuz he and his brother had diahrea and still on medication so I said I’d be back the next buisness day or when they had an open house this coming weekend. Well I called this morning 11-11-24 and the woman who answered the phone said he got marked for rescuing. I said how can I get the info where he’s going and she took my number down and said she’d call me. I feel they never gave me a chance to adopt the little baby kitty.

They lied about my veterinarian saying he did not know me. I don't believe they called the veteran he said he didn't get a call. I have a huge property for the dog to run on keep I keep my animals inside.. I feed them well and read the labels on the dog food. Hadd animals all my life. They were not nice to me. THEY acted like I was adopting the King's daughter. Give me an idea on how much I take care of my animals. My wife is jealous of my animals and my dogs. You getting a clear picture. And I was told by someone who works there that they actually killed the dog that I was going to take care of.

After reading the reviews I felt it necessary to take a few min to let people know about the experience I had with Franklin County animal control. I live in Royalton and I have a husky. These dogs have a lot of energy and need to run everyday. If you don't give them the running time they need then they will find a way to get it on their own, by any means. After he learned how to open the screen door on his own my husband built a fence. It wasn't long before he figured out how to jump off the tree like a ninja to run around. He never really bothered anybody but I understand he does look like a wolf and it's the law. So when animal control showed up the other day as me and husband were trying to get him home. I wasn't surprised. The first thing they said was, "yep, it's a husky." They gave me the opportunity to get him home myself and told me they could let this go with a warning. The let me try to catch him for a little over an hour when they finally said I'm sorry but we're gonna have to tranquillize him. I said I understand as I started to cry. They were very very kind and talked me through the whole thing. At one point even making me smile when they said he's just been hanging out at Critters, our local bar, and he's just a little drunk. I could not have asked for anything better. They did a great job. So I would really like to say to them, Thank You. You are very appreciated and I am grateful.

My fiancee and I have been here four times in hopes to adopt a dog, and 2/4 of these trips were unnecessary trips because we weren't informed the owners had came and got the dogs we had planned to adopt (had the owners not shown up). We are glad the dogs got back to their owners, but we left our contact information with them for a reason.

They do not show up when called .they do not do their job .they are very rude

This shelter is horrible. They deserve to be closed. I went there today and there was poop everywhere. They were just sitting in the office on their phones. I noticed a dog with blood all over it’s kennel and I went and told one of the people there. They said that they took him to the vet and got him meds but didn’t even move to go clean the blood. These people don’t care about the animals there. They all are filthy. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!

They made me execute my horse yesterday they act like she was abused. The animal was old and thin pdobably had asthma. She stil came to the gate every evening and was loved. The man who came to dig her grave was sudprised we had to put her down. They got their way . The horse that was with her is lost without hre

This is a KILL SHELTER

HORRIBLE place to bring a cat, they are kept for a short period then put to death.

PLEASE, DO NOT BRING A CAT HERE

The veterinarian Roger Clark goes to the shelter and kills them

Maybe you should think twice about bringing your cat to this KILLER!
