Sadly this place is unreliable and dishonest. We have been coming here for 6 years and used to recommend friends to do the same. No longer will I support 4 Paws or their staff. I caught them in 2 lies this morning and did not leave our dogs with them.

Our little girl has a back issue and asked that we keep her in a kennel today to keep her from injuring herself. The front desk said they cannot the space and sent my dogs away.

I called the manager to clarify the situation and got clarity that they are short staffed and don’t have the dog walkers to accommodate, I could be understanding of this, until she lied and said that in the past they our Lola in a kennel and called us but we were already gone and could not pick her up. This was just a blatant lie.

The management has changed and has lost my trust. Judging from other post on the board, this is a trend of what is happening here.

Save your time, money and avoid frustration. Go elsewhere. I promise you are better off!

The cameras there are online and I’m watching the girl with the dogs, I see 10+ large dogs, and she’s completely ignoring them while playing on her phone. She even goes as far as pushing them away when they want attention. It’s all she’s done the last 15 minutes. This dog has even come and pawed at her arm a few times and she pushes its paw off and keeps messing with the phone. I’m sure the people pay for interaction or at least attention to make sure everything’s ok

I just wanted to show my family’s appreciation for the great service at Four Paws. We’ve probably been going to Four Paws since they opened. We are always greeted by name and with a friendly smile. Our dogs always get excited when they come visit, maybe it’s the puppy love they experience there or maybe it’s also the welcome jar of treats on the counter! Thanks!

Seems the management has changed, never see Alex anymore, and just not the same, transparency with customers is very important with a busines, we noticed when we picked up our baby his tail was crooked. We used to live in Sherman Oaks until 2019 and had both of our dogs (medium and medium-large) at this dog day care facility. Four Paws Day Care is a super clean and overall great facility. The staff was always friendly and upon pick-up of the dogs gave us a report on how the dogs were doing. Although my dogs never told me, they must have loved it there as they were always happy to go back. Thanks for taking care of our dogs during that time.

I asked why the puppy cam is not working and the manager responded: "It is spotty at best." Also heard from another person that they had a bad experience. I will not be using this place to leave my dog.

Pragmatic Me

I thought that it was about time that I express my happiness in having my dogs groomed at Four Pays Day Care. We have been customers there for the past 5 years. Today, I brought in my two and my son's dog (all three mini poodle mixes).

Each dog was trimmed in a way that we requested and that fit their underlying breed. They stand by their work, for in the past, I was not happy with a part of the trim and they fixed it without resistance. The place looks and smells clean, and the staff is friendly. My dogs never resist going there. That means a lot to me.

Perfect place for our cattle dog. I love the puppy cam, so we can look in on our baby, while we are gone. We have used them for 3 different week loomg trips this year, and I have no complaints! Staff is friendly, too. Will continue to use then!
