Dr. Finan and all the team members who help us are all caring, knowledgeable and good communicators. I always feel listened to. My dog always gets careful attention and treatment. The team also does a great job of scheduling appointments and giving cost estimates for each service. I'm happy to be at such a well run practice. I have no worries when my dog needs care and that peace of mind is priceless.

If you’re reading this, I assume your fur baby is one of the great loves of your life too, you’ve found the right spot for all your baby’s needs. Not only will they be taken care of to the highest standard, every interaction from the receptionists, techs and vets to the thoughtful waiting area, calming exam rooms, and payment process you will feel the love and kindness created by this team.

Thank you!! Today was our first visit to Finan with our kitten and I could not be more pleased! I was so pleasantly surprised to arrive to your fantastic rainbow welcome sign on the front door. All of the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating and it was so fabulous to see pronouns on staff name tags! What a welcoming space for my family! Our care today was absolutely outstanding. Our kitten was completely loved and treated so gently every step of his appointment. I am beyond impressed with your facility, your staff and the way you are doing business. Thank you for being a safe and affirming space in a very scary world and thanks for taking such good care of our newest family member!

The absolute best vet clinic around! Dr. Finan provides exceptional care for our dog, Finn. We've faced challenges like a torn ACL, a mast cell cancer scare, allergies, and more, and each time, she clearly communicates the best course of treatment. When needed, she refers us to excellent specialists. Dr. Finan is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to answer all our questions. The other vets, assistants, and office staff are also amazing—full of love and care. They truly understand that our dog is a member of our family. Pricing is always fair and presented upfront, so there are no surprises at the end.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I learned from a friend that April Finan is a greyhound veterinarian. I had been at VCA for many years for 2 greyhounds and 2 cats. Dr. Finan and staff are excellent! I had an introductory visit and decided to schedule a dental for my greyhound with Dr. Finan. Staff are so polite and helpful and Dr. Finan is so knowledgeable and a nice human being. The dental went great, this is the first time one of my greyhounds was not over medicated for a procedure and he did so well. Angie the vet tech was lovely. Love this practice. My cat is transferring here too.
I'd like to add that we now bring our cat to Dr. Leasure. She and her team are great! My cat wasn't even scared or anxious. She did a thorough exam and now my cat is being appropriately treated for her joint pain as well. 100% recommend!

We've switch vets only twice in the past 35 years with our sweet labs, while living in Glen Ellyn and now Wheaton. We've been so disappointed in the "factory like" operations our past vets have become. What a pleasure to find Finan Animal Hospital! From the front desk staff to our first visit with Dr. Leasure... JUST what we were looking for! THANK YOU ! (Finley - white lab who is usually shaking like a leaf! - totally chill with the zen music playing and sweet soft spoken staff having total respect for my pups and what fear they may have coming to their new doctor). Thank you again! PS... we've just moved our kitty care to Dr. Leasure/Finan as well. SO happy to be there with all of our fur babies now!

I cannot recommend this veterinary clinic highly enough! From the moment we walked through the doors, every single staff member went above and beyond to make both my pets and me feel welcomed and comfortable. The front desk team was incredibly attentive, warm, and organized.

The veterinary technicians were absolutely wonderful, showing such genuine care and gentleness with both my anxious cat and energetic dog. Their expertise in handling different animal personalities was truly impressive. The doctor and her entire medical team were exceptional - not just knowledgeable, but passionate about animal care. They took all the time needed to thoroughly explain every aspect of the examination and treatment options, patiently answering all my questions without ever making me feel rushed.

They had special treats for both cats and dogs (which my pets absolutely loved!), and the exam rooms were spotlessly clean and designed to keep pets calm and comfortable. It's clear that everyone here genuinely loves animals and is dedicated to providing the highest quality care.

Finding a vet you can trust with your beloved pets is priceless, and this clinic has earned my complete confidence. They've found the perfect balance of professional expertise and compassionate care. Without a doubt, this is the best veterinary clinic in the area - my pets and I won't go anywhere else!
