I started seeing Jonathan this past summer due to severe pain in my hip and groin. I was in constant throbbing discomfort, but after starting treatment with Jonathan, I began feeling relief after just a few sessions.

Jonathan is incredibly friendly, and he has a unique ability to connect with patients, making each session not only productive but also enjoyable.

What really stood out to me was his comprehensive approach. He not only worked on helping with my pain but also recommended a doctor to help identify the issue.

Jonathan is everything that you would expect from a PT - professional, knowledgeable, considerate, caring, invested, and overall a great human being.

After tearing my Achilles, I was looking for a good PT. The recommendations were consistent: Jonathan Zaid.

He’s been around for a while now. He built the Ivy Rehab / Excel practice in Hoboken (check out the massive reviews he has in that location). About a year ago, he moved to JC to build that practice.

With his help and guidance, I was able to recover from a full Achilles tear without a surgery (!). Yes it’s possible, with the right PT protocol, and the right therapist.

I worked with Jonathan for over 6 months, twice a week, in which I have gone from crutches to standing, to walking and then running - all through PT. He was fully invested in me, guided me and paid attention to the small details.

We also spent time talking about lots of other things and bonding.

I highly recommend Jonathan. Look no further, you’ll be in great hands.

I went in for PT with severe neck and back pain. JT helped me get better through varied treatments depending on how the muscles responded. He discussed and explained the causes of pain patiently and then treated it using his thorough knowledge. He customised the exercises and tried to find the root cause of the pain. The team as a whole and the individual Physical therapists and assistants make this facility stand out. I’ve had shoulder , and knee injuries in the past but my experience at Excel has been top tier.

It’s wonderful to create a relationship with your individual therapist as well and know how your progress is tracked is motivating . The energy is amazing and for me personally , It feels like I’m in the care of family , friends and knowledgeable professionals all wrapped into one . I know I’m in good hands and the goal post is always within reach .

Recovering from 3 simultaneous surgeries is difficult but the expertise and care demonstrated at Excel/ivy rehab makes each session something I look forward 3x a week and motivates me to keep striving onwards not only for my self but for them as well .

It’s a team effort and I really appreciate not feeling alone during the recovery process . They prepared me pre-surgery and listen to my limits and celebrate wins post surgery .

My sessions are the highlight of my day and I when we have difficult days they are supportive and encouraging and empathic. On great days there are big smiles and high fives . I always learn something new and they answer all of my curious questions.

I have a long way to go but I couldn’t imagine recovering anywhere else with anyone else . The entire team is amazing. They treat all of their patients this way and really care about what they do it’s evident .

When healing , an environment like this is paramount both mentally and physically. BEST hands down ! Happy 11th month and I’m looking forward to hitting the year milestone with you all !
