Our experience here was the best we could’ve hoped for…considering the circumstances. We came in on a Saturday evening. Our kitty, Scarlett, was very very ill and ultimately we decided we had to let her go. Days later we feel we made the best decision for her. EVERYONE here is OUTSTANDING at their jobs. I’m eternally grateful to them all. They helped us make the most informed and humane decision for our beloved little girl. Thank you all ❤️

On Wednesday afternoon our dog was put down due to her condition. They were sweet and understanding with our grieving.
The pendants that were on the flyer were out of our price range, but a vet looked up other pendants for us that were much cheaper and better.
Just today we received a heartwarming card in the mail from the center about their condolences for the loss of our dog, the staff signed it.

Me and my family were lucky to have chosen this center for our baby.

I wish I didn't have to rate this place at all, but thankfully I can give them 5 stars.
We took our 15 year old cat here for an emergency visit and turns out we had to send him to heaven. If you've lost a pet, you know how hard it is. The staff was so kind and patient. We had all the time we could have ever wanted with our boy before and after. They truly treat your pets with respect and allow you the space you need when you start the grieving process. We couldn't afford cremation but they offered a paw print in a keepsake styrofoam box, fur, and whiskers with the price of services. I was able to hold my sweet boy as he passed and love on him afterwards without feeling rushed. I am so thankful for the kindness and empathy this clinic has shown us. I highly recommend them.

This was a great experience! Although my dog Sheba was diagnosed with Cancer, the care team was amazing with taking care of her. I was very impressed by how well they handled my dog. She can be a bit intimidating at first but they knew very well how to handle the situation. She has never been an easy dog to handle when it came to people she didn't know, but despite that they handled her with excellent empathy, gentleness, and care. I will never forget how well they treated her! Thank you so much to everyone who took part in her care until she closed her eyes!☺️ The care team was so gentle with Sheba from beginning to end. They were all so very professional. I'm so appreciative of how they handled everything and would definitely recommend anyone to this facility! Great staff!

This place came through for us when another ER vet could not and had us waiting for hours without checking in on us. We left that vet and arrived here, where they were very busy but instantly monitored my dog and kept us updated. When the vet finally got to see her, she was very compassionate and quickly narrowed down her condition.

Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to her then, but the professionalism and great customer and patient care from every employee there was exemplary.

Please be respectful to any vet office employee. They go through so much to ensure you get the proper care. Thank you so much.

We were in Homewood for a wedding when our 6-month old puppy, Poppy started staggering, acting disoriented and kept falling over. Since it was nearly midnight, we called EVCC and a vet technician asked what was going on, then advised we bring her in.

Dr. Orange (hopefully we got the name correct!) did an examination of her and suspected she had ingested a toxin. We chose to take her home and monitor her overnight. She hadn’t improved at all by morning so we returned to EVCC where we left her for more tests, IV treatment and monitoring since her core temperature was low. She clearly had eaten something toxic but we didn’t know what.

She was cared for by Doctors Fedash and Kish and the wonderful staff there. Since this also was the day of the wedding and we couldn’t visit her, we checked in several times and they very kindly and patiently gave us updates.

We got a very welcomed phone call early Saturday morning letting us know our Poppy, while very scared and nervous (it was the first time she was away from us that long) was physically back to normal.

We can’t thank everyone at EVCC enough for the caring, competent experience we had. You all are wonderful. She is back to her spunky, puppy self!
