The two Dr. Garden’s, a husband and wife team, have been working effectively together caring for our two pets for a number of years. Rossi our cat since they purchased the practice from Dr. Strohauer (2012?) and LuLu our dog since 2018. I appreciate they take the time to explain in detail the cause and effects of various health factors that affect our pets lives. Also, having Dawn on staff is a great asset‼️ She’s available to help us at any time with pet related issues.

My wife and I were inconvenienced, frustrated, and at times a little weirded out by our business with this place. We left each visit scratching our heads. And after spending a year establishing care and attempting to get all the shots for our pup, my wife and I are now currently awaiting a phone call from the vet as to why they are denying to see our 1 year old dog suffering from an eye problem and needing his 1 year shots. The front desk is denying care and telling us to go somewhere else! We are understanding people with busy schedules who have been greatly inconvenienced by this place. Bottom line: unless it’s your last resort, go somewhere else.

I would have preferred to wait inside an examination room (waiting for results and being with my pet), rather than waiting in my car, but I completely understand these are the new regulations due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, which your clinic does not control. Other than that I was extremely satisfied and impressed with Dr. Garden, and her knowledge - and the time she took with my beloved Italian Greyhound to understand his condition and make the right diagnosis, so that he could he feel better as soon as possible. The entire staff was incredible with him and made him feel safe while he received treatment for his illness. I'm glad I found Dr. Garden and your clinic, and when I'm in that area again, I will not hesitate to make another appointment with Dr. Garden, to exam or treat my Italian Greyhound. Thank you so much for your wonderful treatment of Remy - we sincerely appreciate it!

I've been taking my dogs and cats here for so long, one Dr retired and a married couple, both vets, bought it. Everyone I've worked with here over 20+ years has been nice to work with, cared for my pets, and were very compassionate at "those" times.

During covid, they have curbside service where they bring your pets in, they can Zoom call you to talk about things, and they bring your pet back out. Good PPE and sanitation as well.

AVOID the nearby vets in expensive offices like the Town Center. 2X the price. The nice folks at this Clinic won't try to oversell you on less than necessary stuff and will give you less expensive options that other vets won't mention.

For example, my dog was on an expensive drug for her itchiness. One of the doctors here suggested a few over the counter antihistamines and dosage, and voila...zyrtec did the same thing to relieve her itching as the $2/day prescription pills!

They've also worked with me on pain management years ago when my dog got cancer. They told me of a prescription anti inflammatory people take that also works well on dogs. She wrote me a prescription to take to the regular drug store, cheap generic, and I ended up taking it too and getting it from my person doctor!

Tip: if you want to load and unload your pet away from El Dorado Hills Blvd (its nearby), park around the back and bring your pet down the path that leads between the two buildings to the Clinic.

The office is always neat and clean. Everyone is very professional while, at the same time, giving quality service and care to the animal. As an owner I always feel that they take the time to listen to my concerns and comments. I am very happy with everyone one and everything about the clinic.
