I took my Chicken Nugget as an emergency. Drove all the way from LA on memorial day weekend and they took us in immediately. The staff was all so nice, the girls at the front desk Celeste didn't get the others names were always so helpful and communicated with me during and after my baby's stay. Dr. Hinz performed her surgery. She spoke with us before and after made us feel so welcomed bless her heart. They made the drive from LA worth it and comparing prices they were also more affordable again thank you to all the wonderful staff!

My cat was acting very fidgety after escaping her leash and running into a cactus. I called and they said they could take her, and immediately took her in a room. Dr. Kim sedated her and pulled out 75 (!) thorns and spikes, some nearly in her eye.

They ran additional tests to make sure everything was all good, and my cat came out her normal chirpy self. The entire process from check in to pick up was 1 hour, which I’m very very grateful for. The total cost was ~$1000, but I could’ve opted for just the exam+sedation+removal+meds which would’ve been ~$400. Very happy with the service, quickness, thoroughness, and transparency of the prices.

Emergency care is expensive and can happen to any pet, remember to get pet insurance!

So very disappointed! I have been coming here for several years, when we have experienced emergencies with our beloved fur babies and when we have come to end of life for our precious ones. The staff and the physicians have always been amazing until late last night.
After deep and long consideration, we knew it was time to say goodbye to our precious cat PJ. The decision was not easily, it was difficult and painful, but we knew it was time.
We arrived with our cat with heavy hearts. The experience had always been one of caring and compassion, but not on this visit.
We were met with question upon question of why we made this decision, and that the vet, Dr. Kim, would have to determine if our decision was appropriate. Dr. Kim would not even come out to speak with us! Instead, he had his technician, question us and provide Dr. Kim with the information and then determine if the decision was appropriate! And this was after being questioned by the staff member who let us into the clinic! We asked to speak to Dr. Kim, the response was that he would not come out and speak to us because he was not fluent in English! The technician also stated that if it was decided by the vet not to euthanized, we would need to have diagnostics to further assess!
How dare this vet refuse to meet with us! How dare this vet question our decision and feel entitled to know our precious pet more than us! Never have we experienced such insulting, unprofessional service!
We left, angry and in disbelief. We left saddened and heart broken that this precious baby would need to linger and not be at peace!
After this horrible experience, we were determined not to let our PJ continue to suffer. We found a Pet Emergency Hospital and we were welcomed with compassion and understanding. Our baby was able to go in peace and no longer suffer!
We are very grateful that we were able to find the emergency pet hospital following our horrible experience at East Valley Emergency Pet Clinic. We will share our horrible experience with others! Shame on you Dr. Kim! Shame on your lack of compassion, lack of respect and total dismissal of a family, either your thinking that you know what is best for our pet! What you showed was that you cared little for the pet and the owner, and more for the price tag you would be placing with unnecessary diagnostics! Human kindness and compassion speaks millions! Please learn from this.

I came here during the night time, I was told my dog would be okay. The doctor didn’t express major concerns or indicate that any decisions I made/they made were wrong. The issues with my dog kept going and I took her to another vet. Unfortunately I had to put my dog down but the other vet with the blood test results immediately knew what the issue was and how drastic it was. My concern is if both vets had the same information how did east valley miss the issue so widely when the other vet knew instantly.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND- 0/10! They charge $95 for absolutely nothing, but just to bring your dog in. They handed me a 1,700 bill without any explanation until I requested to speak to the doctor. They sent me a nurse who clearly did not even look at my dog because he kept calling my male dog a she. All the tests overlap and they don't even know why they are running them in the first place. Horrible front staff that have the stankiest attitude with nurses / techs that don't understand why they are running these "tests". In the end, the nurse tells me my dog probably had a focal seizure (which doesn't need any further treatment) yet they want me to pay thousands of dollars and don't understand what each test consists of. When I refused treatment at the end and asked how long the process would be to leave, the girl with the yellow hair (get a bleach and tone asap) stated there are other dogs that are actually in critical condition with a disgusting attitude. This place needs new staff that actually understand medical terminology with an entire remodel of the typical front desk attitude!

If we could give more STARS ? we gladly would. Our cat's health had been declining for awhile. His quality of life was so important to us and he was losing it daily. We made a phone call to East Valley Pet Clinic and Carry answered it. We explained our request for our decision to euthanize our beloved pet. Carry was very kind, thoughtful and professional in her response to us. We arrived a short time later at clinic where Carry immediately welcomed us and within minutes we were in a patient room. She was gentle during the intake. Shortly afterwards Cheryl arrived and again we were welcomed with kindness and compassion. She is a top notch professional who really understands catheter placement and the proper amount of medication to ease your beloved pet's journey over to the rainbow bride ?
As we tearfully checked out at the exit desk we met Stephanie who was very gentle, thoughtful and kind. She quickly took care of the payment we owed.
Our experience at East Valley Pet has left us feeling well cared for and most importantly we felt understood for the tough decision we had made today.
