I adopted a cat almost 2 years ago and when we were going through the adoption details they Told me that the cats liver was elevated at one point but he would be safe to take home the cat was very kind and sweet it lived Less then a month because of liver failure I noticed that the night before his death he was sneezing I didn't think much of it but when he wasn't eating I got concerned and when I woke up in the morning he was stiff and laying on the ground I knew something was wrong I had to wait until the humane society was open so I can try to Save my cat after a little waiting I took my cat and they told me I couldn't do Anything to save him I had to put him down unfortunately it was very sad because my whole family became super close to the cat I blame the humane society 100% for my cats death because they knew he was going to die they told me they would give me a 6 month time to get another cat but I never went back to the humane society ever since.

They make you pay a fee to get your pet back if it's brought in. I cannot understand how that helps anyone. It's just a quick money grab for them. They're so full but can't return a pet without that $$$$ babyyyy! It will cost more to house and feed them for months. And I feel like they purposely wait to notify the owner so they can justify the fee. Crazy.

My hubby adopted a cat in August (secretly; I found out after I got an email that said “here are your adoption papers” lol). Well, I get home and this cat has her third eye showing and scabs in her ears. (They told him she was fine and the scabs were from playing with the other cats).

Took her to the vet 2 weeks later and she was diagnosed with RINGWORM and an eye infection!! we have 4 other cats well $900 and 6 weeks later, after separating our healthy cats (2) and our ringworm cats (3), disinfecting and deep cleaning the house 4 times we got rid of it.

Called the humane society and they told us our cats at home must have given the new cat ringworm and we can’t prove we got it from there.

Guess what y’all, our cat must have been GROUND ZERO!! Because pet-smart, (who sells cats for the humane society) told us they had a ringworm outbreak.

If they could have just apologized and offered to test our cats for free, this review would have gone entirely different. I support the humane society and what they do for animals, but accountability is a desirable trait. Photos are before and after the ringworm and eye infection treatment. (Like… it is clear the cat was sick when they sold her to us).

We've gotten several pets here. They are friendly and helpful. It feels good helping an animal too. We have two rotten cats right now and we love them. The facility is nice and the animals are easy to visit. Everyone should check them out and leave a buck in the bucket!

I loved visiting all the animals. It’s sad some of them haven’t found a forever home yet. When I get my next pet he or she will definitely come from here

I’ve always thought maybe this place wasn’t terrible but after yesterday I believe something is seriously wrong! Bearded dragons and leopard geckos are complete different species and that bearded dragon could and eventually will rip that leopard gecko to shreds if they aren’t separated. Just image the stress this is putting in both animals. This is a horrible situation..

Got my baby Bella there! It was during a special event and discounted adoption fees for Everyone. They really dug deep for that discount $25 out the door!

Funny story quick… they got her all
ready to go home with me, I was alone picking her up. It was in the winter and dark outside. When we went out, I let her go potty and then attempted to get her in the car, somehow she came out of her leash and started running towards the fenced in outdoor area I believe, but that’s also in the same direction as the very very busy arterial road that they are on the corner of. I was trying to chase her, but she wanted back inside with all her little puppy friends.
She wanted no part of this…
wouldn’t stop and they must’ve heard me hollering inside the building as I was trying to catch her about six staff members who were able to catch her. otherwise I don’t think there was any way I was going to get her into my vehicle as shy and scared as she was. We’ve had her now aboutthree years I think and she is amazing.
They also offer other services.
