I was very discouraged, knowing that I had to stay in this rehabilitation center until I could go home. The pictures aren’t a true look about what it looks like in that center

I was in a dingy room that had no pictures. The window had been damaged by water and it was rusting and cracking apart. The nurses that would come in and check on me and take all my vitals 98% didn’t even know why I was here. I have had open heart surgery and I was scared to death to have to tell anyone if something went wrong because no one knew why or what I had gone through.

The food was always cold and it was an eatable 95% of the time. I would never go back there.
I have to admit that the physical therapy people were very good and very nice and so was everyone who came into my room come they were just ill informed…

I couldn’t wait to get out of there and wished I would’ve just gone home and had my friends take care of me…

My mom stayed here - and I will say do NOT choose this place. They were HORRIBLE with my mom. They would not allow us to help feed her. They would come in the room and say "you're not hungry are you..." and then would leave the room with her food without showing it to her. They would wheel her through the halls completely naked in a wheelchair and only barely covered to take her to the shower. They also don't like feedback and if you DO give them complaints about continuous violations of proper care then they will threaten to restrict your visitation time. When my mom passed away there - they didn't notify me either. They said they called 10 times but we had NO notifications of a single call. It seemed like they were doing everything they could to help her to be sad and die ASAP. Seriously, think hard before you put your family member here. Even the EMT warned us that he wouldn't put his mom there--we should have listened to him.

My father was here for a month. It started out rough (would have given 1 star for his experience the first weekend) and I was going to move him to a different facility due to getting at least 2 calls a night saying that they wouldn't answer his call button - and the D.O.N. when I tried to speak to her told me to take him somewhere else if we weren't happy. I let Wendy (social worker) know of our concerns she helped educate staff and they made some changes that clearly helped and my father decided that he wanted to stay there until he moved to an assisted living facility. I appreciated that they were willing to try and find solutions to help my father have a better experience. I was there often and witnessed some of the amazing aides and staff members that work there. Food is average. Communication is lacking between staff members. Front desk people are very friendly and fun to watch interact with the residents. My dad had some great aides that would joke with him and take the time to listen to him tell a joke. Not the best facility out there - but they work hard to find solutions to problems.

it feels like it’s me vs the facility for my fathers care…. i’m giving the situation that i had with rebecca, wendy+angel a 1 star

my mother was very hesitant on me speaking up because she said what if Draper Rehab treats my dad differently because of this.. but i can’t keep quiet about this kind of stuff.

This place is horrible. We took my daughter's father who has dementia and they have not cared for him properly. His teeth were missing, his watch and tablet were stolen. Not to mention the despotic, racist social worker who doesn't help you solve your problems with the excuse that she just moved from Texas. We were looking for an appropriate place for a person with dementia and a leg damaged by diabetes and this was the worst place. Not to mention that the social worker from the first moment wanted to move my ex-husband from that facility because he does not speak English. AWFUL.

I've had a friend at this facility for a year, and he loves it, and we love visiting him. My only complaint is about a visitor--not even one of the employees. This visitor is continually rude to the staff and treats them meanly, because everyone doesn't speak fluent spanish. I've been so impressed with the way the staff is kind to this crazy visitor (she may be a family member) and trys to help her inspite of her terrible attitude. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Great therapy, great nursing, and caring staff.

I visited my friend here, and he loves it. The building is older, but remodeled and well kept. He likes the food. He says the staff are so nice and patient. He said the only time he has had to wait longer than a few minutes is when they are passing meal trays or in the morning when everyone is trying to get up. I was pleasantly surprised, and he has been extremely happy.

Recently had to place a family member In Draper Rehab due to no longer being able to care for him at home. The staff have been attentive and compassionate, in addition have great sense of humor, which one needs now days. I feel they have always treated him with dignity and respect and represent all the aspects of care that are important in caring for my loved one. I highly recommend them. My family and I are grateful to the entire staff and healthcare providers who have been there for him making this transition easier and always going above and beyond. Know how much we appreciate you.
