From October 25 to Winter Break 2025 they closed off over 2/3rds of the gym and now it's extremely crowded, not enough equipment, and outright unusable, I want my gym fee back for this!!!

Gym equipment is wobbly the gym staff do not properly taken care off equipment and tune up the benches. Very minimal equipment. Do not go to this gym if you are a semi pro or pro bodybuilder however you can always do dumbbell work, cable work but it’s just not a really high quality gym. Some equipment is missing. Barbell Clips are missing, cable handles are missing. And the barbel clips are worn out and not good quality so if you are a heavy squater 600lb or 272 kg +do not use theirs. They close super early. NOT A 24 OUR GYM. Gym sucks however for beginners yes perfect gym to start off and to get basic work in. No stretchy bands too for stretches, or resistance training. Other than that it’s a pretty well rounded gym. It’s just the equipment Isn’t taken care of. Doesn’t have a lot of variation Machines. Has a nice running track. Plenty of treadmills, got trx cables which is nice. Only one leg press. Long story short. Gym is ok but it needs to be better. Right now it needs newer barbels. People need to take care of barbels in order to improve the life of the equipment. This review was done by a bodybuilder\powerlifter. I criticized to the best of my ability. Gym sucks I just have a high expectation

They finished renovating the center about a year ago and it looks amazing. Massive variety of cardio and free weight options as well as many different machines that are for beginners or experienced work out enthusiasts. There is also several basketball courts, a large indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool and some sand volleyball courts. You can also find several tennis courts and a few racquetball courts indoors along with an equipment lending desk. The changing rooms are also rather large and come equipped with a number of toilets and showers to clean off after a good workout. The staff is friendly and ready to help and there are a huge variety of classes offered for a wide number of activities. Near the east parking deck end of the center is a bike repair shop where they can loan you a bike for a period of time as well as repair your bike for a good deal. Very highly recommend visiting.

The recreation center is great for students. My favorite thing is the indoor Track as it's perfect to run on when the weather's bad. They also have basket courts, tennis courts and an indoor pool! The gym is two stories with all of the free weights being on the first floor and the second floor being cardio and machines.

I'm taking one star off however since they charge a significant amount for someone to bring a guest. I guess it makes sense due to the fact that if guests were free it would be a super crowded gym but it'd be nice to allow students to have one guest with them but bar access to anyone trying to come in along that isn't a student.

It's a brand new place that has been open since the fall of 2016. The Student Assistance that work there are not very knowledgeable about the equipment or helpful. They are there just to play on the phones, watch TV, or talk to each other. There have been a few occasions where they are helpful in being a spotter for someone. The equipment is new and working if not broken, big shower area for men and women, and a large top area for cardio workouts.

Really nice staff, tons of space and large variety of equipment and training options (ex. Classes and PT) . Only thing is it took like a month to fix my favorite machine last Spring semester (assisted pull-up). Other than that, no complaints!

Great facility with lots of different options. Only open to current students. Others must pay to join. Must be an alumni, faculty or staff for that option. Or you must be accompany by a current member. Locker rooms are not clean or well maintained but that speaks more on how the patrons use the facility. Lots of showers with soap dispenser. Do pay very close attention to their opening and closing hours. It varies from the regular semester to the breaks and summers. Pools also have their own schedules. Always check before leaving to go swim or exercice.
