The entire staff is so incredibly caring and loving toward all the pups, I feel totally comfortable leaving my guy in their care. He has so much fun and couldn’t be happier going every single time (2x/week!), and he has made so many friends because it is such a positive environment.

My doggo loves going to Dogtopia to play with his friends every week. I really appreciate the flexible scheduling and drop off/pick up. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone seems to care about each dog and actually genuinely enjoy their jobs. Thank you for providing Mr Peanutbutter with a fun, safe space to romp with his buds. The birthday photo shoot is and adorable bonus too 🥰

Kara (the owner) and the rest of the Dogtopia team has been exceptional. My dog is a rescue from a horrendous puppy mill situation. At first, she was afraid of meeting new people and didn’t know how to socialize and be a “normal” dog. I was so nervous of bringing her to Dogtopia, knowing what she’s been through. But the team was very understanding, took it slow, and even gave me updates with how she was doing. I felt confident that my dog was in good hands, and the doggy cam they offer is a huge plus!! My dog has been a part of Dogtopia for 3 months and going twice a week. She loves going to daycare and we love seeing her confidence grow. Thank you Kara and Dogtopia staff for taking care of Ruby!!

My 7 month old puppy attends daycare at this location 2-3 times a week. It was important for me to find a daycare that offers a safe and positive environment to strengthen her social skills as she matures into an adult. Now five weeks in, my pup can barely contain herself when we walk through the door because she is so excited, which shows me she feels safe in her environment and trusts the staff.

She’s so much more confident in her play, and reads social cues from adult dogs better, improving her relationship with my 7 year old dog.

Kara, the owner, has done a great job maintaining a clean and safe environment, and building a team that genuinely cares for dogs. What makes Dogtopia standout from the other local daycares I evaluated and toured: (1) They host themed events throughout the week to keep dogs engaged because they care about making the experience positive and fun for your dog. (2) The staff knows every dogs name and tells me who my dog played with, demonstrating that they pay attention to my dog’s socialization. On Mothers Day, they surprised me with a plant that had my dogs paw print on it! Need I say more? Yes, I highly recommend.

Honestly, I just do NOT trust them with the care of dogs. They essentially have three small rooms that are incredibly confining and just filthy. Often they will crowd over 20-30 dogs in a small room with little to no room to run or play. They use a mop to spread germs everywhere and the cleaning is just not sanitary when meeting my expectations. My dog had dirty feet when coming home every day. Most of all, I question their disciplinary practices and training of dogs especially when they give “time-outs” to the dogs thereby dragging them by the neck and tossing into a cage for 15-20 minutes several times a day, often longer. I began noticing this behavior on their cameras and when I brought this matter to the owner’s attention she got extremely defensive, rude, and escalated the situation by using terminology such as “neglectful and abuse”. I was appalled at that immediate reaction. This is a terribly business and I do not recommend Dogtopia of Deer Park. Search around the area for other better doggie daycare.

I would absolutely recommend Dogtopia of Deer Park! I bring my puppy here regularly and she is always so excited to go inside once we pull up. The staff is friendly and welcoming. You can tell they love the dogs and take such great care of them. They do fun activities throughout the month and do photo shoots for holidays/themes too! I’m so happy my puppy has such a wonderful second home while I’m at work.

I needed to socialize my puppy and she needed a place to burn off some of her extra-crazy puppy energy and learn some inter-dogal skills. Dogtopia has been a great place for her, she has fun and can play to her heart’s content with lots of furry friends. She comes home happy and tired which has made her a pleasure to be with and has much better manners. AND it has helped with training. She is less squirmy and distractable - she is able to focus and has improved so much. Wins all around!
