The food: Great! I just moved into town and I'm pretty picky about my burger and hotdog joints. I was met with enthusiasm as soon as I entered the door by a man ready to take the order and start cooking. The food got to me pretty quickly and looked great. Burger was thick and juicy with perfect char and the veggies on the dogs were crisp and fresh. I was surprised at how good the fries were, it felt like a sin putting ketchup on one and I proceeded to eat the rest without anything on them.

The Atmosphere: The outside is a very basic "Chicago style food" feel. As you walk in, there is a huge tank with several beautiful fish that swam around gracefully, they looked healthy and happy. A large human sized figure stood in the corner watching me with empty eyes, this hotdog suit was equally inviting and slightly unsettling (as any smooth cylindrical meat man would be as you consumed what you could only assume is his young offspring).

All in all it was a homely feel with awesome food and service. Definitely making this one of my main dog places.

Only downside is they are only open Monday-Sat 11-6pm but their food is so fresh and amazing

First time here. Will not be the last. Just had their dogs and a Maxwell. Very good! Next time if it warrants it, Great will come. But I would recommend their establishment. Very friendly! Thank you Dogs on the Chain! Giving back to locals is what we do!

Great food good fast service. The dogs a really good and bigger than average which i think is great and frys are fresh cut also great. Gyros are decent and good size. The price i think is average so overall good food sevice and price good spot to go. Also they have a really nice gaming area in the back and sell beer.

These people are amazing and the food is fantastic! I’m from Nebraska and visit family in Fox Lake a few times a year and this is definitely a new every trip stop from now on. Thank you guys so much everything was fantastic!

I went to this restaurant after a recommendation by my father in law, JC. I just have to say it is a fantastic experience all around. The hot dogs were truly off the chain, and the service was exemplary. While they curated my dining experience I stepped into the gambling room and was taken aback by the beautiful fish tank with exotic fish. The mood was set as I slid a $20 into the machine. Within minutes I was swimming in winnings like those fish were swimming in that fish tank. I took my spoils and enjoyed the best dang dogs in the area. Plus the fried ravioli was a cherry on top of this wonderful experience.
Would recommend to anyone wanting to win money, eat hotdogs, and be made to feel special.
