Our dog had the time of his life while he was here! The new owners are so kind and you can tell they really love the dogs. Lisa was happy to do a walk through with me before booking, which helped ease my worries so much. Her partner was so attentive and loving toward the dogs. Our little pup fell in love with him. At pickup he was so attentive. They both went out of there way and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend. Thank you so much for loving on our Sunny!!! He will definitely be back.

I took my dog here Lisa is great with my baby, I have an English bulldog so she’s very vigilant when it comes to how he’s doing outside in the hot weather insuring he doesn’t get over heated. It’s also nice that she puts the nose butter on (when he lets her) when it gets a little dry. I really do appreciate her and her services especially when I come into town

Previous owners - I had shared a 5-star review & had nothing but great experiences for the 5 years that I brought my dog here.
New Owners - COMPLETE OPPOSITE! I brought my completely healthy, fully vaccinated dog here for 6 days at Thanksgiving. Normally when I pick him up, he comes running out, doing backflips! This time, he barely walked out & laid down while I paid the bill. I got him to the car & could hear that his breathing had a really liquid-filled-rattle sound. I thought maybe he'd had a bath & got water in his short snout & was lethargic after a long week away from home. The owner said nothing about anything being wrong with him. I was home for minutes & knew something was really wrong with him. He could barely walk, wouldn't eat, and the liquid-rattling in his nose made his breathing very difficult. They were closed by then, so I texted the owner right away to see what had happened while he was there, as he wouldn't have just instantly got this sick. She said he was sleeping when I got there, but she'd check with staff to see if they had noted anything. She followed up the next day that the staff had noted no problems. (How was my dog THAT sick & there for 6 days & NOBODY noticed?!) After continued severe sickness, not eating & losing weight, I ended up having to take him to the vet. He got a little better for a day & then back to no eating & struggles breathing. Back to vet for further treatment & testing. That was on a Saturday, so when he wasn't better by Sunday night, hadn't eaten for 3 days, & breathing sounding like he was dying, I ended up having to take him to the ER vet. They had to admit him, hook up to IVs to get food, & fluids going, several medications to get his digestion working again, and keep him for 1.5 days to get him back to eating & breathing better. It took 3 weeks to get him back to healthy after his stay at Doggy Resort & between the kennel stay, 2 vet appointments, and an ER stay, I spent $4,600!!! When I called last week, not even asking for her to pay any of the vet bills, just that she should at least reimburse me for my kennel stay, given that he nearly died from it.....NOPE.
Her answer - "There were no other dogs here that week that were sick, so it wasn't us. He must have had a cold that was lying dormant before he got here & started showing symptoms after you picked him up." My vet paperwork said that the problems were stemming from an upper respiratory infection, (which by definition is caused by some form of virus or bacteria). But since I couldn't tell her exactly what virus or bacteria, she again claimed that it couldn't have come from her place because no other dogs were sick. Well, he hadn't been anywhere other than YOUR KENNEL for a week, so there really was no other place that it could have come from.
I know that dogs can pick up sicknesses, even when vaccinated. But as soon as she heard I was going to the vet, I never head back from her & when I did reach out to explain how bad it got & ask for a small fraction of what I paid back, she was very rude & refused to take any responsibility. Very sad to have lost the great service that the prior owners had.

My wife and I took a tour, since we are looking for a new dog boarding place. The place was Immaculate and had lots of room both inside and out. Besides the cleanliness we were struck by how happy and content each dog was

Lisa couldn't have been nicer
We have found our new Doggy boarding place

Clean and happy

This is absolutely the best place to take your dog for daycare or boarding in Sarasota .My little Dachshund Toffee absolutely loves coming here and I feel so happy and relieved about this. Jason is right there on site,.. 24/7 and really cares about your dogs well being.. ,He is the ultimate dog whisperer , dog lover, dog trainer and I find it hard to believe anything negative written about him and DoggyDaycare SRQ.
