Paige from "Dog Training by Vanessa" is an amazing trainer!!!! I did the 4 week board and train with her for my 6 month old puppy I had just got from the pound. Every week he made so many improvements. I got daily videos from Paige of what her and my puppy were working on that day. I get so many compliments on how well behaved he is everywhere I go. It brings such a smile to my face because before the board and train it was very stressful to take him anywhere. Not anymore! He goes everywhere with me. I highly recommend Paige for any training needs. She turned my little terror into a angel. Lol... It's the truth!!!

Talk about being in the right spot at the right time. By a random google search, ‘Training By Vanessa’ popped up. I immediately reached out and I was sold within a few short minutes. I explained that Bode was a sweet and totally typical goofy golden retriever. He just needed a little behavior calibration lol. Vanessa conveyed that my ‘Bode’ would be a changed pup in very short time. Also, she was able to allay any fear of general care and safety. Vanessa said that she would put Bode with her trainer, Samantha. Upon bringing him to her home, I had no worries for Bode. And left with optimism & comfort.
Upon returning one month later, I stepped into the backyard to see Bode again for the first time. I could tell in less than one minute that Bode was a new pup for the good. I was totally amazed. Samantha brought Bode into a space that was unimaginable just one month prior. As well, throughout the four weeks, Samantha would send us videos every day of his progress. The videos were instructional of what they were working on. So when we picked him up, it wasn’t an overwhelming new rhythm that we had to learn. Samantha patiently spent at least two hours with us in her backyard going over everything we need to do to keep Bode progressing. Samantha had laid down a solid foundation for Bode to build on.
At any time, after we picked him up, we would occasionally text Samantha for direction on any questions that would inevitably pop up. Before I could even put my phone back in my pocket, she would text right back. It is so incredibly rare to find this type of person in the workforce.
Words cannot convey how much I appreciate all of their work with Bode. I am beyond pleased. Training by Vanessa is the absolute best!

Our puppy Coco was boarded and trained by Vanessa for 3 weeks while we were on vacation in October. He was treated like a member of the family and I could tell he loved being there. It gave us such peace of mind to know he was happy and safe. During his time there, he learned so much. He still gets so excited when he sees her! After doing much research on dog trainers I chose Vanessa and I’m so grateful I did! This woman is the real deal. I have 2 smallish pet-bull mixes 30# and 40#. They had just turned 2 and only knew how to sit…when they felt like it. I have a host of mobility issues and we love to travel with our camper so I knew for safety reasons I needed the pups to be 100% reliable. Vanessa came to the house and met these adorable naughty pups. She played with them while interviewing us and getting an idea of our expectations. After 15 minutes she had them eating outta her hand quite literally. She’d coax them into doing everything she said and they learned very quickly! They sit, down, stay very nicely now and don’t jump up on everyone who comes in the door. They walk very politely now on the leash. She doesn’t just teach them tricks she taught them to problem solve and do what they know will please us. For instance our female is stubborn and didn’t want to learn down so Vanessa put the leash under her shoe to cause just a bit of downward pull and she resisted for a little bit while Vanessa continued to explain the lesson to us and then Remi figured out okay she not letting me sit all the way up because she told me down so fine I give I will lay down. Boom she learned down right in that moment. She teaches is such a way that the dogs are very interested in learning. My number one goal was that they come when called and now they do which was my biggest fear in a campground if they slipped away from us somehow. I can not thank Vanessa enough because I’m enjoying my dogs so much more because they are so pleasant to be around! I enjoy having people come over now because I don’t have to put them in their “house” (kennel). 100% would refer her to anyone! She is amazing. Any future dogs in my life will be trained by Vanessa. After 8 lessons they are doing so great! If you want the best for your fur kids she’s the ONE!
