I checked myself in here cause I needed help. Everything went well and I feel confident leaving here with the knowledge I gained. The food was great and the care was amazing. Having a little bit more space and outdoors time would be nice but overall it was a great experience and the staff was incredible. The staff deals with some people that aren’t always the easiest to take care of and they do a great job. The patience they have is incredible. Thanks again CuraWest hope I don’t have to see you again in a good way.

This facility is amazing! staff was incredibly caring, helpful & knowledgeable in helping in all facets of detox, recovery & therapy...I truly feel that they genuinely saved my life throughout the medical detox procedure as well as helped me on the road to true recovery. Extremely compassionate staff with very comfortable amenities such as excellent food

There are not enough words in the world to describe how amazing my stay here has been. The BHT’s from the moment I walked in showed me love and compassion. The nursing and medical staff were so wonderful. The clinicians, especially mine, Bill, helped me remember what it was like to be me again. My case worker Kyla, saved my life by securing me a spot in the residential program. The love here helped me realize that a community filled with support is what was needed to begin my path to recovery. I’m so grateful for all of you!

It’s hard to find words to describe how incredible this facility was during my recovery. It was my first time in treatment and I am so glad that I chose CuraWest to embark on this journey. The staff here made sure that I was as comfortable as possible throughout this process from therapy to treatment plans, sober outings, amazing meals and a supportive community. I learned so much that I will use in my recovery in the future and they set me up for aftercare that is sure to provide a fulfilling life. I wish I could name all the staff to thank them individually, I had no bad encounters with anyone here, every person knew me by name and actually cared about my wellbeing and recovery. If I could recommend a treatment center for any friend, family member or person seeking to start their recovery journey, it would be CuraWest without a doubt. I had a very encouraging conversation with someone at CuraWest last month. I told him we were waiting for Medicaid approval.He explained the service options available once medicaid.was approved. Today, I called to see about an on-site visit to learn more about the program. The man I talked to today informed me my relative was only eligible for the 7 day detox because Medicaid will not pay for the treatment.
I wish I had been informed earlier, before I encouraged my family to choose CuraWest.

I had a very positive experience with cura west for detox. They handled medical needs and mental health needs very well. The space is very comfortable, including single rooms with TV’s, and a constant stockpile of snacks and drinks. Would highly recommend!

Unfortunately, detox facilities have become a scam. Yes, this place is nice, but the only thing they are after is money. They will take you at your most vulnerable state and then convince friends and family you have to stay there long term. I had a slip for a few days and called for help. Suddenly I needed a “full detox” according to them and residential treatment. If your insurance will pay, they will keep you. There is not a medical necessity involved, it’s just money. Their “clinicians” are sales people. People comes in and out of this place over and over and over again. That’s how they thrive. The nurses are amazing, but the organization as a whole is a scam. If you want to get well, choose somewhere that is invested in your sobriety, not your money.

DO NOT GO HERE!! My reviews keep being deleted. I have diagnosed PTSD from my experience at this facility earlier this year. Especially do not go to cura west if you’re coming off opiates. I had to wait over 100 hours before they gave me just 4mg of Sunoco e which sent me into a precip withdrawal type condition, then the day after I got 2mg, then was suddenly released early. The staff and therapists lied to my emergency contact on multiple occasions. They will not get you anywhere close to comfortable while detox from opiates, you’re much better off getting subs or methadone then getting the sublimate shot. They only want your money. And don’t believe the positive reviews, their revolving door of staff writ s reviews while at work, I’ve seen it firsthand. Yes you get a tv in your shared room, but that is the only positive. They do not care about their patients, if you try to leave they hold your belongings for 48 hours-which is incredibly dangerous and I don’t know how it’s legal. I’m filing a report with th state for an investigation into their operations because they constantly break laws. And put patients lives in danger
