I brought my 14 year old chihuahua in for a therapy consult, she has just had FHO surgery. The doctor performed a thorough exam and we were able to begin hydrotherapy the day of my visit. They had some emergencies going on with other dogs and the doctor still took his time with my senior dog and her exam. Highly satisfied and will be returning for all future checkups for my dog.

My cat got sick and I took him there. My family recommended them and I was not at all disappointed! Tammy and Dr Rogers took such good care of my kitty and also me! I was an emotional mess and they were very comforting. My kitty had a high fever and they got him all better! I highly recommend taking your fur babies here. They will be treated so well and so will you!

Two words best describe the experiences we had at Critter Care. Care and Concern. Dr Mornane and his highly capable staff reflected both values during our recent routine prevention visit and sadly end of life visit. Our greatest appreciation to the Dr. And his staff for the care and concern afforded to us and our dog Harley.
If your looking for an affordable professional caring and trustworthy facility and team for your pet care needs in the greater Spartanburg S.C. area l would highly recommend Critter Care.

This vet office is great. Me and my husband adopted a male cat from foster paws and something happened, a mistake was made where his papers said he was neutered and he had one broken tooth but no mouth issues. Turns out he was NOT fixed and he actually has stomasis. He ended up having a lot of inflammation on his gums and had to have a lot of healthy teeth removed. Critter Care took care of him for me, free of charge to correct the issue. All of the nurses were nice and helpful, doctor seemed knowledgeable from the bit I was able to talk to him. They really took care of my baby and thankfully he is now neutered and his mouth has healed. He's doing so much better - would definitely recommend this office. Picture of the culprit in question below 😄

My favorite vet in Spartanburg! The vets are fabulous, the techs and support staff are all wonderful and you can tell everyone goes above and beyond for their patients and clients. They are all experienced and compassionate, really spending time to figure out what’s going on with your pet and the best way to treat it…. And they do it for a great price. The experience, really taking time to do things right, and prices are all things that are hard to find nowadays in a sea of corporate owned vet offices! I recommend them to anyone who is fed up with their current vet treating them and their pets like a number.

I have had dogs my entire life and have been to many veterinarians. Dr Mornane is by far the best. He gave my Ozwald the most thorough examination he has ever received. My Ozwald has degenerative myelopathy and I could feel Dr. Mornane’s empathy for both my dog as well as myself. His therapy tech was also amazing. You could tell everyone in the office has a genuine love for animals. I am so grateful to have found Critter Care and will be bringing the rest of my babies there as well!
Update: I just can’t say enough about the care my sweet Ozwald is getting at Critter Care. Every single person in the clinic genuinely cares about him. They always say hello as he is passing to go to his hydrotherapy. Dr. Mornane is amazing. Even though I am there for therapy, he is always checking in on my boy. The therapists are all great! I am so grateful to have found a place that I know will support myself and my Oz on this journey. Much thanks, Ozwald and me❤️.

I made a huge mistake in taking my dog there for a rehab consultation. On Monday she was hit by a car and I took her there for a rehab consultation. The doctor looked at my dog and the X-rays that were sent from the separate original hospital. After "reviewing" the xrays the doctor suggested that if I wanted the option of surgery that it would be quite the expense and he would put in a call. Said it would cost about $5,000-$6,000 dollars and not guaranteed to work. He told me I would need a miracle for her to walk again because she was in bad condition because she couldn't feel her back legs. Leading me to believe there was little to no hope. Between leaving the facility and coming home my dog seemed more chipper and attentive. After getting her home she's been very slowly moving her back legs. I'm very grateful for that but with the way the diagnosis was given to me it would lead one to believe that she had no chances of walking. I'm leaving this review because I almost put my dog down for no reason and they were accepting of that. I can not and will not recommend a place that is disheartening and basically telling me she wouldn't walk. The only good advice the doctor did give was to lower her dose of her pain medication. This is just my experience and may not be the case for everyone but I'm sure I will not take my dog there again.

We were lucky enough to be introduced to Dr. Mornane and his staff by the rescue group that we adopted a special needs dog from. Not only did the Dr. examine our new adoptee but also took excellent care of a geriatric doxie that was in great pain. I thought I would need to have my 14 yr old "baby" euthanized as she was so sick but Dr. Mornane went above and beyond to bring her back and I will be forever grateful. I thought the costs were a bit high but isn't everything these days and I would have paid anything to get my baby back to health. A big THANK YOU to Doc and his staff.
